Hi Seodaemun

I was a bit unsure at first since there weren’t many photos and only a few reviews, but because the feedback was very positive, I decided to give it a try — and I’m so glad I did! The hotel turned out to be excellent. The room is on the smaller side, which I think is perfect for one person (I’m 178 cm tall). I loved how well the space was designed and utilized — it never felt cramped and was very functional. Most importantly, everything was spotlessly clean. The bed, pillows, and blanket were incredibly comfortable, and the towels smelled fresh and were of great quality. I also appreciated that the hotel provided high-quality amenities — even the hairdryer, tissues, and bathroom products (including conditioner!) were a step above the usual. The staff were absolutely wonderful. I arrived early in the morning and had to head straight to a concert, so I had many questions in advance. They answered all my emails quickly and in great detail, which I really appreciated. The self check-in and check-out system was also seamless and easy to use — very convenient and stress-free. In the room, there was a clear guide on how to use the equipment, connect to Wi-Fi, and even recommendations for nearby restaurants, cafés, and pubs. The neighborhood itself is calm and outside the main tourist area, yet just a short walk to the subway station that connects easily to the major lines. Shared facilities included complimentary coffee, ice, drinking water, and glasses for self-service, which was a nice touch. I would highly recommend this hotel for solo travelers, but it’s also great for couples or friends. For me, it exceeded expectations in every way — truly impressive!

Very new looking hotel. Location great but! Walking there from the bus stop can be abit challenging if you are dragging many luggage as the pavement to the hotel is narrow and very uneven. But it’s just 5 mins walk away. Provide all necessary toiletries. Clean and cozy but be warned, no lift. If u are again carry a lot of luggage it can be a challenge to carry them up and down. Honestly it’s worth it if u don’t mind all trouble of carrying up ur luggage on files of stairs.

This guesthouse exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was smooth thanks to the kiosk. The staff were available when I needed help, and they answered my questions quickly. The facilities are brand new, which makes a huge difference compared to other places I’ve stayed. The room smelled fresh, the bed was comfortable, and everything was sparkling clean. The location is right in the city center but still peaceful, which was perfect for me.

I stayed at Hi Seodaemun for one night and it was an excellent choice. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from Seodaemun Station, which made getting around the city super easy. The building is new and everything feels clean and fresh. The room was spotless, the bathroom was modern, and the self check-in kiosk worked perfectly. I also appreciated how quiet the place was at night. Overall, it felt safe, comfortable, and well managed.

This is not just a guesthouse, it really feels like a boutique hotel. The property is newly renovated, modern, and very clean. The check-in system was efficient, and the staff were attentive whenever I had questions. What stood out the most was the TV with streaming apps — Netflix and YouTube were available, and even though I had to log into my own account, it was worth it. Being able to watch my shows while traveling gave me the feeling of being at home but in the middle of Seoul. I was on a business trip, and when I asked for a steam iron, the staff brought it to me right away. The service was truly outstanding, and together with the excellent location, this made my stay unforgettable.

I booked Hi Seodaemun and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. The location is perfect — only minutes from Seodaemun Station and close to places like Myeongdong and Gwanghwamun. The building is new and the facilities are spotless. What I loved most was the smart TV in the room, where I could log into my own account and watch Netflix and YouTube. After a long day of sightseeing, being able to relax with my favorite shows really made the stay even more enjoyable. The service felt hotel-level, and everything was well prepared.
