Hotel is at the Exit 2 of Yangjae Station but as I came by metro from another hotel and have a big luggage, I took the lift at Exit 1. Upon exiting exit 1, turn to your right and you will see Exit 2 and keep walking (there is a small manageable slope), the hotel is the left. At Yangjae Station, there’s another way to the Shinbundang Line and you will find eateries, bakery, Mega Coffee, Olive Young etc. Do note that this Shinbundang Line charges more than the usual subway (according to Naver map) and have express train that skips stops.
Kkanbu Chicken is near Exit 2 and the fried chicken is really nice. Next to the hotel you can find Ssada Gimbab which serve very good local food. There is also a Emart next to it and Paris Baguette is nearby too.
Cleanliness was ok on the first day but on the second night when I was about to sleep, I saw that the changed bedsheet was torn. I am really surprised that the housekeeping staff did not see such a big hole (not 1 but 2) when they are doing the change. Feedback to the reception the next morning as I don’t want them to mistook me for damaging it. The reception apologise and ask the housekeeping to do a change since I am going out. Upon my return, I was even shocked. There are 2 brownish red dots on the bedsheet….not sure what are those but as I was really tired and was checking out the next day, I did not bother to inform the reception.
PROS:
Very near to Yangjae Station
Airport Limo 6009 is just at doorstep. Takes about 1-1.5 hour to reach T1
Luggage weighing machine in the lobby for guest to use
CONS:
Pillow is super bad quality. Flatten with 2 seconds…shoulder ache after sleeping for 2 nights
Cleanliness is not up to standard
Water dripping sound in the shower ceiling (room 1703)
