I had a comfortable stay with a nice owner and facilities.
Even though it's in the Hongik University area, it's not a shopping area, but an area with many restaurants. It takes a little over 10 minutes from the station, but if you're heading from Hongik University Station, it's a little further back on the left after turning the corner at the Japanese izakaya called "Hitsujiya".
I was worried because I don't speak either English or Korean, but with simple English, gestures, and a translator, it wasn't a problem.
I stayed in a basic double room, which was nice.
(I personally don't like the smell of room fragrance, so I think it would be better if there wasn't one...)
The microwave, refrigerator, water dispenser, etc. are shared and can be used.
The bathroom is shared, but there was a hair dryer in the room with a decent amount of airflow, which was helpful.
Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were also provided, and I had long hair, so I was able to use it without any problems.
The toilet and shower are connected, so it can get wet, so if you're concerned about that, I recommend bringing rubber sandals or something.
I tried to use TRIP EASY's suitcase delivery service from the airport, but the owner couldn't pick it up until 8 p.m., so I couldn't use it. (Apparently they had tried to negotiate to have the luggage delivered before 8pm, but it didn't work out. They kindly contacted us and let us know.)
It's not a hotel, but I think it's a great option for those who want a reasonably comfortable stay at a low price.
