Hertz Hotel

Wouldn't really recommend this hotel as it is quite run down. Its more of a motel than a hotel. Firstly there is an odd amount of mirrors in the room which I got and being in South Korea it runs the possibility of there being some suspicious activity like hidden cameras. As a female traveller I did not feel comfortable. The AC/Heating system was also broken. In terms of housekeeping I dont think they actually cleaned anything in between as the room was dirty even after I returned. They probably only cleaned out the bins. In terms of location it is located on a very busy street which has many restaurants and is busy till night so it was lively outside but you could hear noise when you're trying to sleep. It is very close/walking distance to other major attractions like Gyeonbukgong Palance, Ikseon Hanok Village etc. Also has a subway station exit right outside the door which was convenient.

Because my flight was changed to the next day, I needed to change my accommodation time, but I couldn't do that. I had no choice but to pay for an extra night. When I arrived at the hotel the next day, they said that because I didn't check in, they had cancelled my hotel room and gave it to someone else. It was cancelled without any notice and I had to find a hotel to stay at the last minute, which was really terrible!
