🇰🇷Seoulite Inn Myeongdong ft. Step Inn Myeongdong in Myeongdong Seoul South Korea I stayed in 12th floor a bunk bed male dormitory type room , actually this is the cheapest hostel in City center of Myeongdong the location near in Cathedral and Night Market and per night around Php 1,240 in Trip.com. if you are solo traveler I recommended to stay like this capsule type or bunkbed but expected the environment coz little bit noisy from other guest and using of toilet at late night. So i enjoy free breakfast here like bread , cereals, soup , brewed coffee and juices. Staffs are nice maybe- they didnt give my request to transfer below coz i had arm pain but maybe they just strictly follow their rules but should have consideration. Next time will book solo room for comfortable stay. Great location. The room is very tiny so perfect for those who need just a place to sleep after a day of sightseeing. There's a kitchen on the floor.

Visitors from foreign countries, I wrote them down sooooo honestly, so read my reviews carefully and refer to them. 불친절하다는 리뷰가 많아서 걱정했는데 생각보다 엄청 불친절하진 않았음. 체크인 시 '호텔 규칙을 어기면 벌금을 내는 것에 동의한다'는 절차를 거치는데, 끈질기게 다 읽었냐, 돈 내는 데 동의하냐 물어서 뭔가 걸리면 진심 돈 더 내고 가겠구나.. 하는 인상은 좀 있었음. ”벌금 내는 데 동의하시죠?” 세 번 들은듯? 규칙도 까다로움 친구나 애인은 몰라도 가족조차 출입금지임 물론 걸리면 호텔에 벌금 내야함. 가격 생각하면 나쁘진 않은데 정말 잠만 자기 위해 이용해야 할듯.. 샤워기 수압이 세면대 수압보다 안 좋아서 씻기 엄청 힘들었음. 객실 내부에서 취식금지임(커피, 주스 같은 음료 포함 금지 물만 가능) 취식하라고 해둔 곳에 에어컨이 안 틀어져서 땀 뻘뻘 흘림. 그래도 객실 에어컨은 잘 나옴. 진짜 '난 잠만 잘거다, 하루종일 밖에 있다가 잠만 자고 또 나갈 거다' 하는 사람에게는 추천. 위치도 좋으니까 그냥 밖에서 놀다가 잠만 자러 오는 걸 가장 추천함 진짜임.

Very convenient and easy to get to. Everyone was friendly and the room was clean. I liked that I could get to Myeongdong Station by foot within 10 minutes.

It was a good stay. The surrounding environment is very quiet, just a short walk from the bus stop and metro. The facilities are well kept and clean. They offer converters which was great. Only complain is that we booked a room for three persons thinking there would be a private bathroom but there wasn’t.

I was there for five nights. Travelling with my teenage daughter.Just both of us.I find the location very convenient about 338meter to Metro station where it has all Line accepted Line 1 or Line 2 where you have to change to Dongdaemun station. I arrived at the hotel around 9am they don't allow us to have early check in even though I have requested 2 months upfront during the booking. During my stay at the hotel is under renovation but it doesn't really affect us. Since we aren't really in the room all the time. We were outside most of the time. My room hasn't been cleaned for almost 2 days. When i reached my room that night I called the receptionist..he said all our cleaners already go home.So he handed me the fresh linen for me to replace myself. The linen has a very strong chlorine smell that really affects my skin..my skin gets so itchy. So i covered my whole body when i want to sleep so the linen won't really touch my skin. Bare in mind that the cleaner won't clean your dishes ya!!! Even if you have a sink. If you left your dishes for 3 days it will be there for 3days😝🤣 Overall i have a good time staying here. My opposite view is a hospital. Walking distance to DDM station.

Overall, I had a great stay at 24 Guesthouse Myeongdong and would stay there again! PROS: -Location is prime! This was the biggest pro IMO, the metro was steps outside the building, I could easily walk to markets like Namdaemun and Myeongdong, and other attractions (like Namsan Tower, South Gate). The neighborhood has lots of restaurants and is very walkable and I felt safe whatever time I was out. -Staff is friendly and responsive. I booked through Booking.com and used their app and they promptly responded to messages. When I was on-site they were very friendly and helpful although there was varying levels of English fluency-nothing that the Papago app couldn't help with. -Staff also accommodated my long stay (7 days) since they didn't have one room open for the entire 7 days, I did have to change rooms. But I loved the hotel and location so I appreciated their flexibility and willingness to work with me. -Rooms are simple and clean -Their coffee machine made very good coffee-I really enjoyed it Neither PRO nor CON Breakfast is very simple, toast, cup of noodles, coffee and juice-I recommend heading over to Namdaemun around 9-9:30 and grabbing a fresh hotteok before heading out for the day. CONS: -Most rooms have no exterior windows and the walls were thin-bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper like me! -Hotel is on the 10th floor-that itself is not bad, but it did make me re-think whether it was worth doing a quick drop off or taking a mid-day break.

The room was very comfortable and pleasant , the facilities are excellence , have water dispenser at all floors, have microwave in the pantry. toiletries were were perfect, such as shower gel, hair dryer, towels, shampoo , brush , hand soap... The lobby has nice place to sit and enjoy the weather, save to sit outside the hotel till late night... surrounded by shops and night market . exact spot for vacation at Myeondong. Convenient to go to bus and subway train station ... overall excellence. Good choice , ill repeat my stay .

The hotel is decent overall, but there are a few drawbacks that might impact your stay. First, there are too many stairs, which can be a bit inconvenient, especially if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues. The rooms and common areas feel quite cramped, leaving little room to move around comfortably. While the staff are polite, their hospitality doesn't quite match the warmth you'd expect. They’re helpful to a certain extent, but their friendliness seems a bit forced or limited. On the bright side, the breakfast is a highlight of the stay. The variety and quality of the food are excellent, offering a delicious and hearty start to the day. It's definitely more than enough to keep you energized for whatever plans you have.

The room i booked is tiny. For 1 pax, just sleep is fine. The price is low but still get the basic necessity in a room, such as hairdryer, hot shower, tv, aircon. Bed isn't best but reasonable. Toilet is small but decent and clean. There is a window. Room key is manual lock. So remember to turn the lock when inside and use key to lock the door when leaving. Location wise is fine. From exit 10 of seoul station, take the stairs out to street level, and go uphill , 10m away. u can see the hotel name. This place is on a upslope. Can be physically challenging after a long day touring outside. To avoid the stairs, use the lift inside the sct mall (at exit10 paris baguette)to get to street level. If during odd hours and with heavy luggage, need to avoid the stairs, can also take a long enroute to cross the main road in front of seoul station. Odd hours, some escalotor may not be running, and i saw escalator at exit 10 only operate in up-riding direction(morning peak hour.) Beside the hotel is a mall with several restaurants in the basement.
