I was assigned to a first-floor room after selling several types of rooms. I requested a change, but I received feedback that all were sold and that I could not change. I think that if they were going to sell a first-floor room at that price, they should have notified me in advance.
Trip.com introduced it as a 4-star hotel, but when I arrived there, it was a local 2-star hotel. It was just a hostel. How could a hotel not have a reception desk?
There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom or room, so all the moisture was absorbed into the bedding after showering. It was so humid even though it wasn't summer. There were cockroaches in the bathroom.
Right after checking out, I heard the building manager checking the room right away. It was very unpleasant. They didn't tell me to check for lost items before leaving the room or check for stolen items.
The most critical thing was that it was on the first floor, so passersby could see into the room^^… . Then, either post a notice on how to use blinds or put tint on the windows.
Don't do business like that.
