The hotel has lovely staff but the room was inferior with a very poor breakfast. We stayed in a Superior Double room with a view of the internal patio. Jorge, who was extremely helpful and friendly, welcomed us and gave us lots of useful information about Sevilla. All the staff we met were great so no complaints there at all. The problem was the room and the breakfast. - There were no chairs in the room to relax in at the end of a long day sightseeing, just a high uncomfortable bed. - The bed was a very rickety, noisy metal 4-poster bed with an uncomfortable mattress. The slightest movement caused the bed to rock and squeak. It looks great but not ideal for sleeping in. - The shower was only hot once, the rest of the time it was just warm. - There wasn't really a view. The window just faces the windows of rooms opposite which are very close so you have to keep the shutters shut, resulting in the room being very dark and dingy as the lighting is quite dim. To view the tiny patio you have to actually open the window and look down. - The breakfast was very disappointing, consisting of a small selection of fruit and cold meats, sliced bread which looked suspiciously like the cheap bread sold in Mercadona, and a poor choice of mini cereal boxes with only full-fat milk. There was salmon, however, it was kept near the fireplace and seemed to be sweating. On the last day, I decided to order eggs which they do hard-boiled, fried or scrambled. For hard-boiled you have a choice of 3 or 5 minutes. I opted for 5 but they were barely cooked with the whites runny. It was a shame not to be able to look forward to going back to a comfortable room at the end of a long day of sightseeing. Fortunately, Sevilla is a wonderful city so we still had a great time.
