No A/C — very uncomfortable stay. My room was hot and stuffy, and the air conditioning wasn’t working. I tried to cancel my second night because of this, but the hotel refused to accommodate the request, even though it seemed to be an issue affecting the whole building. Really disappointing experience.

The rooms at Ascott are very spacious, perfect for family trips, and come with full amenities. The bedding is comfortable and soft. The Wutong Xiaoyuan area is very quiet, and transportation is incredibly convenient. You can walk to nearby Jiaotong University and the Xuhui historic scenic area. The only minor drawback is that breakfast is a bit simple, but the restaurant service is attentive. You can try the wontons and noodles at the noodle station, or grab breakfast at one of the eateries nearby.

We had a very enjoyable family vacation. The apartment room was clean, well-equipped, and the service was excellent, with prompt and quick responses. There's a convenient commercial area right outside the apartment. It was very quiet at night for sleeping, and the beds were comfortable.
