Our family had stayed 2 rooms for 3 nights on the 27-30, Dec 2024. Our stay were memorable and amazing. The rooms were so clean with very nice view, the breakfast line were delicious and has many variety of food both western and Chinese. The staffs were the most impressive, they could speak very good english and very friendly. The duty manager is very helpful too. I forgot the souvenir which was the Chinese embroidered traditional fan and just realized when I got back home, the duty manager was very enthusiastic and putting a lot of efforts in getting the forgot item back to me. Thank you so much, I’m really impressed and highly appreciated your hard work and kindness.

This is an excellent hotel with amazing and friendly service and clean rooms. There is no smell of smoke anywhere--not in the lobby, hallway, nor room itself! Everyone is super friendly, ready to help wit luggage, etc. The only drawback (or possible benefit, if this is the type of bed you like) is that the mattress is a little hard (it is not a super soft mattress). The pillow menu that comes with the hotel is fantastic and you really get to feel like home because of it! Also, though it is in a lively area (the French Concession), it is also very clean and quiet! It is in a very central location with the South Shaanxi Subway station right outside serving lines 1, 8, 10, meaning you can get to the Shanghai Station (train) for any trips you want to go on very easily. It is also close to iapm if you want to shop; just down the street! One slight drawback is that in the room we stayed in, the water in the shower head does not get as hot as the water that comes from that faucet in the bathtub. I had to switch to a different room after my friend left and the water temperature was fine, so maybe it was just that room in particular.

Hotel is really clean and the decor is really nice. Stayed here quite a few times. Staff are helpful and will help you with any issues you have. Gym is good and has a indoor pool and steam room all of which are of good standard. Breakfast is ok but to be honest theres a-lot of breakfast spots nearby which I would recommend over the hotel. They do do alcohol and coffee in the hotel but like I say better options outside and the selection isn’t great at the hotel. Overall its not a bad place to stay I used to love it but the price has crept up over the last few years and its in the price range of better hotels now. It’s a really good hotel if you get a good deal on a price or actually if your getting off at Shanghai station and just want to get to your hotel quick. Overall not bad.

Hotel was clean and sheets were extremely comfortable. Room air conditioner was cold and working well (unlike other hotels in china with controlled temperatures) which I really appreciated. Room cleaning service is great! View of the bund is wonderful, though I was only able to see the Oriental Pearl Tower as the rest of the major towers are blocked by the building right infront of the window. Privacy might be an issue as people in the opposite buildings could look right into my room and bathroom, especially at night with my room lights on. I could also clearly see whatever was going on in the opposite buildings if their curtains were not closed. That is a pity considering the large windows the hotel room had to offer, as the view is mostly blocked by buildings right infront. Though you can walk to Nanjing Road, cycling is more convenient and if thats not what you want to do, the walk may be a little far if you want to go there often. You can also walk to The Bund. Nearest metro station is Yuyuan Garden which is about a 15-20min stroll away. Overall a really good stay despite the privacy issue, if you dont mind that then this is a good choice if you would like to be further away from the hustle and bustle.

Had an amazing 6 nights stay at this hotel mainly due to its strategic location just beside the Nanjing pedestrian street. I brought along a reduced mobility elderly and this hotel has step free entrance thus making it easier for me to wheel the push chair. Breakfast has a large variety of food ranging from freshly made waffles, pancakes and breads to Chinese food such as congee and soupy noodles etc. Another plus point is the hotel concierge also helps to collects parcels. Otherwise there is a level 1 rack whereby the delivery guy will just leave the parcels there for the customer’s collection. It was an enjoyable stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who prefers a fuss free experience.

This is my new go-to hotel in Shanghai. I love the location, walkable to great food and shopping, and, to me, the far more interesting neighborhoods to the south of the Yan'an expressway for nightlife in countless small neighborhood bars and some even greater, more interesting food, both foreign and Chinese/Asian.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a number of times for business trips to Shanghai and it’s always a great experience. Big room, clean, staff are very helpful and friendly. I didn’t add breakfast to my room this time but it is worth adding if you stay, it’s a great spread. It’s also an easy walk to lots of great restaurants and bars including the French quarter. Highly recommend if you come to Shanghai for business or pleasure.

The room had a great view and the staff prepared a small cake, balloon and greeting card for my birthday ( I told them while confirming my reservation). The food was top tier and affordable. My 3rd time staying here and definitely will again.
