### ”A Family-Friendly Gem in the Heart of Shanghai!” Our recent stay at Bornmann Hotel was delightful! From the moment we arrived, the friendly front desk staff made us feel welcome, and check-in was a breeze. We had a spacious room that comfortably accommodated my husband, our 6-month-old daughter, and my mother-in-law, providing plenty of room for all of us. One highlight was the breakfast, which primarily featured delicious Chinese cuisine. It was a wonderful opportunity to indulge in local flavors while enjoying our morning together. Overall, Bornmann Hotel exceeded our expectations with its excellent service and family-oriented atmosphere. We’ll definitely return on our next visit to Shanghai!

First, I want to give a thumbs-up to the front desk, who were so welcoming and attentive. Second, I want a negative review for the room, which didn't match the pictures. I paid extra for a deluxe king-size bed room just because I wanted a full-size window, regardless of whether it was a street or tree view. I looked at the pictures and confirmed the booking by phone beforehand. My friend arrived early that day and checked in. After getting off the plane that evening, we were stunned into darkness. The window opened onto the stairwell, which was dark and cramped. I wondered if anyone might be eavesdropping. The next day, I had an early trip and was anxious to get some sleep, so I didn't have time to argue. Now that I'm free, I'm writing a review. Other hotels would indicate that if P3 rooms are located near the staircase, but I didn't pay extra just to get a staircase room. On check-out, I saw the small window at the elevator entrance, and both had tree views. So, was this room booked by mistake, intentionally or accidentally?

Stayed for three days in a row and didn't sleep well for three days. The soundproofing is average. There were people screaming outside in the early morning and there were banging noises next to me. I always went to bed late and got up early. The breakfast area is also very small. There are only six tables in total. The wonton tastes okay, but the soup base is this color. The deluxe room is quite big, but there is no full-length mirror and big sofa. There is a small sofa. The front desk service and room service are quite considerate.
