I have to give a perfect score to Nicole, the front desk attendant at the Pudong Airport hotel! Her service attitude was absolutely wonderful – warm, polite, and she had a genuinely kind smile throughout. The check-in and check-out process was incredibly fast and professional, with no delays whatsoever. Since I was staying with my 17-year-old daughter, they even provided a complimentary extra breakfast and a rollaway bed. Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Pudong Airport is an excellent choice for travelers with early morning flights or late-night layovers. Its biggest advantage is its prime location, situated right between Terminals 1 and 2. It's just about a ten-minute walk directly to the departure hall, completely eliminating the hassle and uncertainty of shuttle buses. As an InterContinental Hotels Group brand, the hotel boasts relatively new facilities. The rooms are spacious and tidy, and the soundproofing is exceptional, ensuring a high-quality sleep despite being in a busy airport environment. While the price might be slightly higher than some budget hotels nearby, its extreme convenience and comfortable stay make it incredibly good value for money. The breakfast is quite extensive and, overall, even surpasses the standards of some InterContinental flagship hotels in other cities.

I really liked their swimming pool. I went there often for a swim. The elevator goes straight to B1, the environment is bright, and it's usually not crowded, though sometimes there are coaches teaching kids lessons. The breakfast selection is extensive, but they clear it quite early, so I recommend going early. On my previous visit, I went late and there wasn't much food left. There's no wooden comb in the room; you have to ask the front desk for one if you need it. There are only two bottles of mineral water in the room, which isn't enough for me, but you can request more. Overall, the room is clean and relatively quiet, and the elevators don't take long. The WiFi speed is also decent. Overall, I recommend this place.

This family trip was a perfect stay, truly a 10/10! Ms. Violet from Guest Relations contacted us in advance, arranged everything thoughtfully, and provided attentive service throughout, leaving my family with an incredibly positive impression of the Holiday Inn! She understood that the standard room might be a bit cramped with both seniors and a child, so she proactively communicated with my family and immediately arranged an upgrade to a family room. Every day, she would even send afternoon tea to our room right after we returned. The facilities are high-quality, and the service is both meticulous and warm.

The lounge area by the hotel entrance looks really relaxing, and there's tea available in the lobby. If you need to send a package, you can use the Fengchao locker or have the concierge help you out. Big thanks to Jack for his enthusiastic help, I'll definitely be back next time.

I'm giving this one star purely for the staff. They really do try hard. To be objective, the hotel is a bit old. Most rooms require you to stand in the bathtub to shower, which was a huge surprise to me. I was assigned a room that reeked of mold when I first entered. It took me about 20 to 30 minutes to switch rooms back and forth. I had planned to relax after 9 PM, but then two staff members, a man and a woman, came and apologized, which was nice. Thank you to them. The hotel windows are completely sealed shut. Yes, you heard that right, completely sealed. Light can come in, but there's absolutely no ventilation, so you can imagine the smell in the room. I usually don't leave bad reviews unless something is quite subpar. I also used the swimming pool, and the hygiene wasn't great. It was quite old, and the men's changing room smelled like something had rotted in there. However, the girl working at the gym was very nice. Perhaps it's because I travel frequently and pay a lot of attention to hygiene. After the staff apologized, they did take some measures, but then no one followed up with me. I checked out somewhat sheepishly.

The room I was assigned was pretty quiet. As soon as I opened the door, I was greeted by a bright, spotless, and tidy space. The hotel is built along the river, offering a beautiful environment and fresh air. The temperature these past two days has been just right, and being on a higher floor was especially comfortable.

Overall, very satisfied. The hotel has a swimming pool, and I went for a swim every night. There's a lifeguard, and the water quality is decent. Being outdoors, it's inevitable to find a few small insects, but it's not a big issue. Breakfast was good, with some variety each day, offering both Chinese and Western options. The rice noodles and 'guotiao' (flat rice noodles) I tried were both delicious. The beef burger ordered to the room was completely non-spicy and tasty, perfect for kids. The dinner hot pot buffet was also of good quality. According to my daughter, it was slightly less flavorful than the famous chain beef hot pot 'Zuo Mou', but still very enjoyable. There's a shuttle bus service to Disneyland, which is a large coach. If you get motion sickness easily, I wouldn't recommend it, as I felt quite nauseous. I heard there's also a shuttle to the city rail station, you can ask at the front desk about that. The hotel provides children's slippers, bathrobes, and toothbrushes. We also requested a bed rail for the night, and thanks to it, my daughter slept soundly for three nights. There's a small children's playground where kids often find playmates and can spend a long time. However, there isn't dedicated staff supervising it, and some inconsiderate parents allow their children to bring food inside. According to other kids, there was spilled yogurt in the corner near the restroom! The air conditioning in the room worked very well, and the shower was comfortable. The bathroom had no unpleasant odors, and the hairdryer was a Laifen. The staff were all very friendly and gentle. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit!

I booked a deluxe city view twin room, and my overall stay far exceeded expectations! The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from Shanghai Railway Station North Square, making it super convenient for catching high-speed trains. The room is about 30 square meters with two spacious beds. The high-floor city view offers a wide panorama, and watching the city lights in the evening was particularly pleasant. The entire room was meticulously clean, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area with excellent water pressure, and it even featured a smart toilet and a Laifen hairdryer. I couldn't hear any traffic or train noise from downstairs, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the staff were friendly. The bedding was soft, and you could choose between soft and firm pillows. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, including a noodle bar, and both Chinese and Western pastries. I personally found the pancakes and waffles to be the best. The cold cuts platter had a great selection of cheeses and meats. Besides Shanghai specialties, the lamb pilaf from other regional breakfasts was also quite good. As an IHG property, the quality is reliable. I highly recommend it for transit, layovers, or short trips. I'll definitely rebook next time I'm in Shanghai!

Booked this hotel in advance. It's located at Caoxi Road and Caobao Road in Xuhui District, which is super convenient for transportation. There are so many great dining options nearby, the area is really lively. Parking is also a breeze; just register your license plate and you can drive in and out as you please. The room was clean, everything was great.

Holiday Inn Shanghai Pudong is a great value-for-money hotel! The hotel staff are all very warm and hospitable. A big thank you to Mr. Zhang at the front desk for patiently answering an elderly person's inquiry over the phone and making a note, and to Ms. Min at the front desk for her swift check-in process and for enthusiastically contacting the swimming pool so we could enjoy a swim in the morning. The guest rooms are clean, tidy, and well-equipped. Kudos to Ms. Kong, the housekeeping attendant, and the lady who delivered bottled water in the evening – both were very professional and efficient. The hotel coffee shop has an elegant ambiance, a rich variety of delicious dishes, and a special shout-out to Manager Zhang for his exceptional service and arrangements. The indoor heated pool has crystal clear water, and a big thank you to the front desk lady at the pool for her warm hospitality!
