Shanghai Changning District Hotels

My parents stayed here while visiting. The location is close to our apartment while being well connected to the rest of the city by the nearby line 10 Yili Station. They had breakfast every morning and enjoyed it each time.

- Stayed for 5 nights - 1st room assigned to me, there were slight aircon noise. Asked for a change of room, accede to my request immediately - Suggest to change shower curtain, getting old and slightly stained - King Size bed is comfy - Flight was delayed, asked for late check out, request was accede. Overall, will rate 4/5 based on Price, Cleaniness, Service and Location. Will consider coming back to the hotel if going back to Shanghai

This is my third time back to this location, all is well as before. Line 2 is right downstair can be reach by elevator .  the shopping center have huge number of eateries , choosing is the most problem for me.   Using the new subway between PVG and SHA is  a real  time savier (40 minutes ride), only a stop a way for this hotel. I am bring  a few groups back to explore Shanghai food scene next few months

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Very convenient location. Amenities adequate, some wear. Good breakfast. Occasional noise. Great value. Recommended for business/leisure travelers

Stayed 6 nights for work. The location was perfect, just a short walk from my office. Henry (Hotel staff) were really friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I had a few Taobao parcels delivered, and they made the whole process super easy by helping me collect them. Especially, when my roommate unable to book the train ticket due to not local, he was helped to book and ensure I’m safe and able to reach the places. The hotel is comfortable and convenient, would definitely stay again.

I stayed here for a night before an early flight, and it was perfect for what I needed. The location is ideal — just a short 5-minute walk to the subway station, which connects directly to the airport. The subway starts running at 6 AM, so it’s super convenient for early flights. The hotel itself is affordable and offers great value. The rooms are surprisingly spacious — bigger than most standard airport hotels. There’s a 24/7 reception which was helpful for my late check-in, and an on-site restaurant if you don’t feel like going out. Overall, it’s a solid choice for anyone needing a quick and easy stopover near Shanghai Pudong Terminal 2.

Positive: Overall is fine. The room was clean. The hotel provided transfer to the airport. Negative: No one speaks English at the reception. The breakfast was not good. I mentioned in the comments that I needed a non-smoking room, but I was given a room with a terrible smell of smoke. After that, I asked them to change the number, and they did.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The property is breathtakingly beautiful and spotlessly clean. I truly loved everything about it — the room was everything I wanted and more. The location is perfect, with easy access to most major attractions and areas of interest. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again! If I had one suggestion, it would be to improve the breakfast options a bit — adding more variety or fresher items could really enhance the overall experience.

I HAVE BOOKED ROOM WITH WINDOW BUT THEY PROVIDED ME ON ARRIVAL WITH A DINGY ROOM NO WINDOWS DIFFERNT CATEGORY. LATER WHEN I RPOTESTED & TOLD THEM THAT I HAVE BOOKED DIFFERNT ROOM CATEGORY, AFTER LOT OF ARGUMENTS THEY CHANGED MY ROOM WITH WINDOW ROOM . FIRST EXPERIENCE WAS BAD . NOBODY ON THE FRONT DESK KNOWS ENGLISH. IT IS DIFFICULT YTO COMMUNICATE WITH ANY STAFF EXCEPT ONE FRONT MANAGER WHO KNEW ENGLISH. EXCEPT BREAKFAST THERE IS NO OTHER RESTURANT IN THE HOTEL SO IF YOU ARRIVE LATE OR ON ODD HRS. YOU MAY NOT GET ANYTHING TO EAT. NO ROOM SERVICE MENU. YOU HAVE TO GO OUT TO EAT ACROSS THE STREET OR TO A SHOPPING MALL NEAR BY. WILL NOT STAY AGAIN . THE FLOOR AREA OF RECEPTION IS DIRTY, SO IS THE LIFT AREA & LIFT. BED WAS COMFY & CLEAN.

Amazing hotel and probably my favourite hotel by far! Location: conveniently located next to a metro station (can be a bit of a trek after getting off the metro but there’s a shortcut via the mall next to the hotel that takes you up escalators without having to take the stairs to get up from inside the station). Very close to Yuyuan Rd and a lot of different food options nearby. There’s also a couple of large malls a short walking distance away. Room & Facilities: personally really loved the interior design and layout of the room. Perfect room size for solo travellers, has all the amenities you need. The bedding and pillows are a huge plus - they are so comfy. The hotel provides two bottles of drinking water, but they tend to top up to four if you’ve used them all up. Four tea bags are also provided. The hairdryer, kettle and iron are nice brands and well kept. Reception will ask if you need toothbrush and toothpaste upon checking in, they are also topped up when housekeeping comes around. The toiletries brand used also smells really nice. Service: staff are all nice and friendly, very welcoming, no hassles at all. Only downside (not too much of an inconvenience though depending on personal preference): you need to pick up food deliveries by yourself by heading downstairs - two sets of lifts: one down to the reception and another one down to the entrance lobby. Didn’t get to try the restaurant or use the fitness room this time around but will definitely be back!!
