Shanghai Huangpu District Hotels

The hotel was nice. Room are spacious. Location really great, near to the subway and Shopping place. My room facing to Nanjing street, which is very nice. Recommended. Gonna stay in this hotel again.

I booked 2 rooms. Reception was kind enough to prepare the rooms side by side so that we can take care of our parents easily. Room was clean and spacious. The centralised heater provided was also great to keep the whole room warm as my parents were afraid of the cold. Tried the breakfast buffet on one day as it was raining, food options were not bad. Downstairs leads straight to Nanjing Street shopping malls. Very convenient. Highly recommended!

Nice clean hotel, very small rooms. Breakfast was disappointed, treated as a second class citizen by the operators, ignored when waiting to be seated, perhaps because I am a foreigner. Limited choice, coffee machine only serves black coffee, surely simple as connection to a milk reservoir. The fruit didn’t look fresh, the pastries stale, cereal not fresh. When I was asked by the hotel about my stay, I expressed my disappointment with breakfast. They back tracked and said that the restaurant is not operated by the hotel, yet they sell rooms with breakfast option?

The hotel is convenient and easy to find. The staff is so kind and always made an extra effort to help and speak in English , special thanks to Lin Feng for his tremendous help. They also gave me a small gift as I left. The room was quiet and cool. And I genuinely had an amazing night sleep. The bathroom is a bit small but I’m not complaining. The gym is fully equipped with all the basic machines one would need. There was a beautiful patio area where you can sit and read or enjoy the sun. The laundry room is open 24/7 and has many machines that you don’t have to wait that long. Overall great experience 10/10 would recommends

The hotel is a local hotel with a local Chinese theme with modernization. We stayed at the family room which is big for 4 pax, the room has a nice bathtub with a universal socket for mobile phone charging. The room comes with 1 queen and 1 super single bed which the super single bed is too small for 2 pax. It will be ideal to have 2 queen beds. There is no hanger at the bathtub or shower area. Good location as it's around 100m to 150m to the Bund and Yu Yuan, Yu Yuan subway station. There are several eateries across the street such as 小杨煎包, Tim Horton and many more. One can walk to Yu Yuan for meals as there are famous restaurants over there though it can be crowded. The hotel staff are helpful from the concierge, room cleaning , receptionist and like to thank Eason from the reception who helped to order food from meituan since the apps and alipay do not accept foreign mobile numbers. There is a robot that will help to deliver items to your room. The hotel also helps to receive delivery from e-commerce, just to make sure there is sufficient time as needed at least 3 days. The hotel provides daily tour at the Bund city walk or Yu Yuan and is quite useful for first timers. It also offers free desert every night at 8pm

The location of the hotel is great, only a 10min walk to nanjing road which is the main shopping district. There was so much food options right downstairs. The receptionist were all super friendly and helpful. We stayed for 3 nights and were very happy with the room. The room is nicely decorated with an oriental style.

We stayed for 5 days and were impressed from the start when we were given an early check-in on the first day at no extra charge. The location is excellent and very convenient for traveling. The room was clean and comfortable, with an easily adjustable heater. Housekeeping was done daily, and the amenity kits were replenished every day. The staff provided excellent service and were very helpful. Highly recommended!

location was great, metro station a short walk away. lots of food, shopping malls and nanjing road all nearby. service staffs were exceptional good quality to price ratio as compared to rooms in the area, good if you are not spending alot of time in the room. manage your expectation in order to have a good stay sound proofing is not good and air condition is centralised due to the cold weather. not able to adjust to a comfortable heating temperature and we wokeup to a 29degrees room temperature!! the only solution given by the frontdesk was to switch the aircon off. therefore no ventilation for the few nights we are there but due to the cold weather, it is still quite manageable

Room felt comfortable and cozy. Bedding is soft and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful with my questions about my trip. YuXingJi is just opposite this hotel. Housekeeping is very efficient, I change the towel and bedsheets every day. They have high quality in-room slippers👍 Just little imperfections: bathroom doesn’t have any hooks for cloths & towels. Doesn’t provide laundry bags. Overall was close to perfection no kidding about it and I extended my stay one more day. Great value for hotel in Shanghai.

Overall, we had a very pleasant experience here! We were conveniently located next to popular Shanghai tourist locations (The Bund 外灘, Nanjing Lu 南京路), and the hotel rooms were clean and well kept. Also, the hotel staff were very helpful. We’d definitely consider Atour again! Although, we discovered that there are actually several Atour branches, so when getting to the hotel or ordering delivery to the hotel, one must pay attention to the exact address.
