for such a cheap price I was extremely surprised with how large the room sizes were, the staff were incredibly helpful and explained how I could get food delivery to the hotel room which whilst I new how to already I'm sure many travellers won't and would appreciate the staff's kindness. the hotel location is quite far away from the city centre and metro infrastructure so taxing is a must but for me this wasn't too much hassle. for budget travellers looking for somewhere clean with great service at the great price thats close to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport this hotel is perfect!

Really enjoyed my stay at Orange Hotel. The room was clean and comfy, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved that they offer free pickup from the train station and a free drop-off to the airport—super convenient. Great location too—close to everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again!

This stay was a great experience. The room was spacious and bright, with complete facilities. Although the hotel is quite old, the maintenance of the facilities is still good. The service staff were warm and attentive, and the check-in process was fast and efficient. Jasper and Derek is good. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, catering to different tastes. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around. All in all, it's worth recommending.

As soon as I entered the hotel lobby, I fell in love with this tasteful hotel. I originally planned to stay for only two days, but ended up staying so long that I had to leave Shanghai. Even though it is a long way to the center of Shanghai, it is worth it. The hotel has the convenience of a business hotel and the service of a high-end hotel. My husband commented that it is the most satisfactory hotel he has ever stayed in. The front desk staff is very professional, polite and enthusiastic. The room is on a high floor, spacious, clean and tidy, the breakfast is rich and varied, and the chef's noodles are good. My husband said that he finally had a bowl of cooked noodles.

The house is clean and tidy, and the environment is comfortable. The location is excellent. It is very suitable for living here. The breakfast is rich and delicious. I like it very much and will come again in the future. Great.

This is my first time booking a hotel with less than 9/10 review. Never let reviews fool you.😂😂 So far the most affordable, spacious and cleaned 6 persons per room I have seen in Beijing or Shanghai. I was shocked how big the room was compared to other hotels. A partition separated the WC from bathroom which doesn’t makes the whole place wet, it very uncommon in most hotel in China. This is a PLUS to the hotel. All services were on point 100%. Staff was professional and friendly. Once I checked out they gave me a free bottle of tea for my next travel which was really nice of their hospitality. Free dispensary drinking water, cleaned eating area and the common area at the reception desk was big enough and cleaned. Location is easy to find, 3 minutes to the subway station. Many Shopping markets, restaurants nearby. I think this hotel should have 10/10 on reviews. I highly recommend this hotel for affordability, cleanliness, professionalism and hospitality.

Great location if you’re going for Shanghai F1 GP, just 2 metro stations to the circuit. Short walk around 8 mins to nearby station. Room is tidy with adequate space. Buffet breakfast has a lot of variety of food to choose. One major drawback was that there was no air-conditioning in the room but there is in the corridor, we couldn’t turn the room temperature below 26C. The manager did change another room and provide a fan for us but the situation was not changed. At the end, we had to open up the window to get fresh cool air, fortunately the outside temperature at night was around 12-18C and we could manage to keep the room temperature at around 23C. The official explanation was that the air conditioning was centrally controlled and kept at a warmer temperature for most visitors not to feel cold! The period that we visited was mid March and the weather was not too cold around 12-26C

Hua shu yi is a delightful hotel in the suburb of Shanghai, close to Suzhou. Though the carpet in the hallways could use replacement, the rooms are very clean and well-stocked. Though out of the way, it's situated in a wonderful community and neighbors some great restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made my stay very welcoming and comfortable. Great hotel if you're on a tight budget but still want to visit Shanghai. Didi from Huashuyi to Yu Garden, The Siper Mall, and The Bund is only about $15 or ¥115.
