Shanghai Chongming District Hotels

I had a really good time. I came during the week so the camp was very quiet and tranquil. The staff are friendly and showed me right to my unit, they also helped me to light a bbq so I can cook dinner. I stayed in the river view cabin and it was really amazing, the views are especially beautiful in the early morning and at sunset. The camp is also pet friendly, I traveled with my 2 small dogs and they also had a great time playing on the massive lawn and walking around the camp grounds. The camp offer bbq sets but there are also some restaurants nearby. I was able to order food delivery too. Although I didn’t utilise them, the camp offer various activities including horse riding, canoeing and riding ATV’s.

The hotel is located in the administrative center of Chongming District, a ten-minute walk from Chongming Palace (Chongming County Museum), Yingzhou Park, Nanmen Scenic Embankment and other scenic spots. There are many commercial restaurants around, and the geographical location is excellent. The hotel rooms are simple, spacious, clean and bright, with high-quality facilities and supplies, and comfortable to live in; although there are not many breakfast varieties, they are particularly appetizing and satisfying, especially the 24-hour free coffee and tea service, which is full of features; the service is standardized and in place, and the late check-out is warm and homely; there is a free parking lot, and it is also equipped with charging piles, which is convenient for self-driving travel; overall very satisfied.

Parent-child holiday treasure hotel! The children's room is equipped with tent picture books and starry sky projectors, and the outdoor lawn has a cute pet feeding area and a small go-kart. The parent-child kitchen experience is full of fun to make Chongming cakes. On weekends, there is a natural teacher to lead the team to observe the wetland. The bathroom is equipped with children's foot stools and cartoon teeth, and the bed is installed safely in advance. It is a 5-minute drive from Changxing Island Country Park. You can book tickets for the citrus garden during the picking season. The housekeeper helps to make an appointment for the return taxi.

Hotel is not bad, but during our stay, most of the common areas were quite cold. Also, water in the main pool was quite cold, as well as the air temperature, making it unpleasant. It is ok for pure swimming, but since it is a family hotel, temperature should be fine also for kids playing. Service in the Merket restaurant was quite poor, while in the Chinese restaurant the service was very good, as well as the food, much better than in the Market. Breakfast is good. There is a small outside playground with animals. Some of the animals (the cow, the small rodents…) look a little bit suffering. If you don’t speak Chinese it is quite difficult to understand what kind of activities can be done (in the hotel or with hotel support), and nobody is proposing anything at first. All in all, not thinking to come back.

Changxing Island Qingcaosha Reservoir was on a business trip. I didn’t expect that there are such good hotel standard rooms here. It is bigger than the five-star hotel in the city. There are some in the room. It is still in the park. In the morning, I visited such a big country park. It feels like you own a big park so beautiful, decisive love, collection! love.

The hotel is very new and the rooms are relatively spacious; the staff will take the initiative to greet guests when they see them; because the restaurant is not large enough in the morning during the short holiday, the staff will take the initiative to help arrange seats. The hotel is in the living area, and it's very convenient to get to the small square where you eat in the evening in only five or six minutes. I stayed during the May Day holiday. There was a large farmland across the road, and the rooms facing the street didn't feel very noisy. The more the air conditioner is turned on, the hotter it gets😭 I set the cooling to 24 degrees before going to bed. I woke up in the middle of the night and saw that the temperature had reached 28 degrees😭. Later, I adjusted it to dehumidification and I was able to keep my body cool hahahaha😄 I plan to go to Hengsha Island the next day. It’s not far to walk to the pier. It takes about 20 minutes. It’s much easier to walk than drive when you go out on vacation. I found that there are cars blocking the road for a long time near the pier.

At first, my daughter wanted to set off fireworks, so she was going to book a hotel in Chongming. I saw this room and the evaluation was good. After booking, I contacted the hotel, and the housekeeper added WeChat to inform you in detail how to buy fireworks, nearby amusement projects, as well as a full meal and afternoon tea for breakfast, lunch and evening. Before departure, I also reminded again that there are no taboos. When it was almost time, the housekeeper had waited early to greet and lead the way at the gate of the community. His two villas are located on the shore of Baoyi Scenic Waterfront, with strict security and a good environment. The exterior is Mediterranean style, with a swimming pool in the middle and a sun coffee house and tea room on the side. The basement floor where we live is an activity room where we can play billiards, as well as two mahjong tables and audio-visual rooms. All coffee houses, tea rooms and activity rooms are free to drink. The rooms have floor heating, the bathroom amenities are L'Occitane, and there is a Dyson hair dryer, disposable cloth slippers and new plastic slippers, the texture is very good. Every room has a platform, it is very pleasant to drink tea in the sun. The bedding is still more comfortable. The most commendable thing is the dining, which is really much better than I thought. Every meal is full of sincerity, full of color and fragrance, fully showing the local characteristics, and the young chef's craftsmanship is comparable to that of a restaurant chef. All the service staff are particularly warm and sincere, and the meticulous care is moving. The hotel has free road bicycles, we rode to Dingba to watch the sunset. The next day I went to visit the East Village of Xudong Ecological Village. After checking out on the last day, I went to Dongtan. The Spring Festival stall was very satisfying. There is still room for improvement. The floor heating temperature is because it is a cycle of the whole building, so the temperature control effect in the room is limited. Even if we turn it off on the first night, it was still hot and didn't sleep well all night. There is a lack of towels in the room. There is no chair on the floor in the room, which is not convenient for the elderly to rest. The TV is not equipped with cable, we will on-demand and cast screens, and the elderly have not much choice. In short, Lanhaizhuang is still very surprising, all five-star praise, I hope to make persistent efforts, we will definitely come again when we have time. Finally, I have to sincerely apologize, I injured the hotel's battery car, which caused you trouble 😅

Friendly and welcoming!! Good breakfast, real hits the mark… so clean!! They are still finding there way, they are ready to place furniture in rooms for clothes, which they placed in our room!! Great little pool and area to hangout and relax, needs sofas or loungers… will help!! The couple running the business are very warm and helpful.. Also offering scooter or transport, which helps!! No food in village area, but easy to get delivery if you have apps enjoyable break!! Would return if we go back to the island

The view from the room was absolutely stunning, directly overlooking the lake. It was pure bliss just sitting on the terrace sofa, relaxing and taking it all in. The cleanliness and front desk service were also great. However, the soundproofing was absolutely dreadful. I'm not sure which room it was, but there was a loud mahjong game going on until the early hours, creating a lot of disruptive noise. Then, in the early morning, the housekeeping staff were shouting loudly in the corridor. It was the first time I've ever witnessed hotel staff practically screaming to communicate with each other. I'm not a light sleeper by any means, yet I still couldn't get any decent rest. It was noisy at night and noisy again in the morning. After checking out at noon, I actually had to go elsewhere to catch up on sleep for the entire afternoon just to recover.
