Shanghai Chongming District Hotels

The hotel is located in the administrative center of Chongming District, a ten-minute walk from Chongming Palace (Chongming County Museum), Yingzhou Park, Nanmen Scenic Embankment and other scenic spots. The hotel rooms are simple, spacious, clean and bright, with high-quality facilities and supplies, and comfortable to live in; although there are not many breakfast varieties, they are particularly appetizing and satisfying, especially the 24-hour free coffee and tea service, which is full of features; the service is standardized and in place, and the late check-out is warm and homely; there is a free parking lot, and it is also equipped with charging piles, which is convenient for self-driving travel; overall very satisfied.

Our trip was really great! The hotel so clean and peaceful, the staff was very helpful and friendly and our room was beyond expectations. Our room was huge, very comfortable and above all very clean. The only downside was that the air quality was not that great, it was very dry and stuffy. I would definitely recommend staying at the Sheraton for a nice tranquil stay in Chongming!

Hotel is not bad, but during our stay, most of the common areas were quite cold. Also, water in the main pool was quite cold, as well as the air temperature, making it unpleasant. It is ok for pure swimming, but since it is a family hotel, temperature should be fine also for kids playing. Service in the Merket restaurant was quite poor, while in the Chinese restaurant the service was very good, as well as the food, much better than in the Market. Breakfast is good. There is a small outside playground with animals. Some of the animals (the cow, the small rodents…) look a little bit suffering. If you don’t speak Chinese it is quite difficult to understand what kind of activities can be done (in the hotel or with hotel support), and nobody is proposing anything at first. All in all, not thinking to come back.

During my stay, the room service responded promptly. Once I needed extra towels, and someone delivered them soon after I called. The aunt who cleaned the room was also very careful and kept the room spotless, and the breakfast was also excellent. The restaurant has rich and varied dishes, with good color, fragrance and taste, and the chef's cooking level is first-class. The waiter will enthusiastically recommend special dishes, and add water and change plates in time during the meal, which makes people feel more comfortable. When checking out, the staff took the initiative to ask about the stay experience and listened carefully to the opinions. The whole process was relaxed and enjoyable. The environment and service have been done to the extreme, bringing customers a comfortable experience like home. The tent we stayed in was smaller than expected, but the kids liked it. Adults need to bend down. The public toilet was average, and there seemed to be no hot water. Every time I come to Chongming to visit relatives, I always book Starway Hotel. The transportation is very convenient. It is right outside the South Gate Pier. It is also very convenient for eating and traveling. There is Luckin Coffee KFC next to it, and there are Burger King and Starbucks in front. This time there was also a small market near Burger King, and we also went to pick strawberries. The next morning we usually had breakfast and walked around the embankment and took a stroll around Yingzhou Park, and finally checked out and went home☺️☺️

It was a perfect experience. This B&B was a pleasant surprise. All the popular B&Bs in Chongming 51 were full. I chose this one because of the big lawn. The location is pretty good. It takes about 20 minutes to drive to various attractions. It is also very close to the nearby Xianqiao Village, where there are coffee, picking, and fish ponds. The food is delicious and barbecue is provided. The girl at the front desk is really nice. It can be said that she will respond to any request. The treasure B&B is absolutely purple. I will go there again.
