The hotel is in a great central location, right on Nanjing Road, near East Nanjing Railway Station. Breakfast is varied, but if you stay for several days in a row, the food is the same every day. You'll get bored after eating for several days. The room amenities are too little shower gel. Overall, I still like this place. This is my second time staying here, and I think I'll stay again, but I won't skip the breakfast.

Great location — just a few minutes’ walk to People’s Square Station and Nanjing Road.
I booked a twin room; it’s not big but good enough for our family of three.
The first room felt a bit cramped, but the front desk staff were super nice and helped us change to another room for free.
Very comfortable stay 👍🏼 I’d definitely come back next time!

Elong Hotel is one of the best Hotel in Shanghai.
Location : 5/5 (has 2 subway stations nearby, the line can directly go to PVG airport). Lots of restaurants and malls nearby.
Cleanliness : 5/5
Facilities : 5/5 (can help to receive Taobao package, if order food you can note the room number and robot will send it directly to your room)
The shower and toilet are separate, the toilet is smart toilet with bidet.
Breakfast varieties have many options, I really love their noodle station.
Overall, if I travel to Shanghai again, will definitely choose Elong Hotel for my stay.

This hotel has a really interesting style which makes a nice change from all the cookie-cutter 5star chain hotels. The location is pretty amazing, next door to the Bund, metro lines 10 and 14 and Yu Garden. Our room had a great view over the river and looking towards the light show on the Pudong side. Breakfast was good. While the western breakfast was extensive perhaps the Chinese selection could have a bigger selection? We were really happy that we picked this hotel and definitely recommend it.

I had a truly wonderful stay at 璞晶唯庭酒店（上海人民广场新闸路地铁站店）. The location is excellent—just steps away from the metro and within easy reach of Shanghai’s main attractions. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and very comfortable, making it a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers.
A special thank you to the front desk staff for their warm hospitality and professionalism. He went above and beyond to accommodate my change of plans and kindly offered me an upgrade to a larger room, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Their attentiveness and service really stood out and made me feel valued as a guest.
The upgraded room was spacious, well-designed, and quiet, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Everything from the bedding to the amenities was thoughtfully prepared and maintained to a high standard. The hotel also provides convenient laundry services, which made my stay hassle-free, and the gym was well-equipped—perfect for keeping up with fitness while traveling.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its convenience, comfort, and outstanding service. I will definitely return on my next trip to Shanghai! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

YYezishushangjinglingBefore our check-in, the hotel called, thoughtfully inquiring if we had children and mentioning they would prepare kid-friendly amenities. Unfortunately, these seem to have been overlooked upon our arrival. The lobby's air conditioning was incredibly powerful; it felt quite chilly stepping in from the summer heat. We received a complimentary room upgrade, which was a nice gesture. However, upon arriving at 3:20 PM, we were informed our room wasn't ready and had to wait until 4 PM. While we waited, they offered us complimentary drinks. We ordered three, but were then informed that only two of them would be on the house. The balcony offered a fantastic view, and the hotel boasted an impressive design aesthetic. The pool staff were very attentive, and the kids absolutely loved the warm soaking pool.

AAnonymous UserThe location was excellent if the main objective was to explore the Bund and Nanjing road as it's within 5 mins walking distance. Only issue was the musty smell of the room which also had a strong incense fragrance. That said, the room was clean and beef was comfy. The smell appears to mainly affect rooms in the older wings. Amenities wise there's complementary laundry services and supper plus the staff were super friendly and helpful. So recommend staying here but request for rooms in the newer wing.

GGuest UserWaldorf Astoria has always held a special place in my heart as one of my favorite luxury hotels. My admiration for it began during my first visit to the Grand Brasserie for Sunday Brunch. The moment I stepped into the hotel, I was utterly captivated and amazed by its unparalleled grandeur, opulent design, and magnificent decor and furnishings.
Even as a Shanghainese local, I can't resist a weekend stay here. I always opt for a full river-view room. In the morning, as the curtains gently open, with nothing to obstruct the view, I look down through the floor-to-ceiling windows to see the most vibrant S-bend of the Huangpu River extending into the distance. Looking up, the majestic cluster of skyscrapers in Pudong, including the iconic ”Four-Piece Set” (Lujiazui skyline), proudly stand tall. The landmark buildings of the Bund and prime river views are all laid out before you. At night, colorful sightseeing boats crisscross the river, and the buildings shimmer with vibrant, beautiful neon lights, creating a truly magnificent spectacle.
The hotel's service is also exceptional. Coco, Eva, and Katrina, the wonderful staff from the exclusive concierge team, are incredibly warm and attentive. They proactively helped me with my luggage, personally escorted me to my room, and showed genuine care and concern. At the front desk, during check-in and check-out, even when busy with other guests, they would proactively engage with me, help me review my bill first, and minimize my waiting time. They truly go above and beyond to make guests feel completely at home, providing a wonderful and seamless experience.

GGuest UserVery good location and service, but not recommended for couples. It’s more suitable for business travelers. The room I stayed in was quite small—maybe because of my budget—so I recommend booking a larger room if possible. The smell of smoke was unpleasant, which was a downside. However, the location is excellent with the metro station just 1 minute away. There are also very good restaurants nearby for Muslims. Opposite of metro station we found a good beef restaurant their service is amazing.

One of the things i love about this hotel was the 📍location, it was a short walk to the amazing Bund (otw there, you can get your coffee run at starbucks!), metro isn’t far and there are little food places + convenient stores like family mart nearby too! It’s also a walkable to Nanjing Road where Pop Mart and many other shops are!
Another thing is the balcony - Requested to get the bigger balcony (which wont be at the highest floor but thats okay). Chilling in the early morning or just having my supper by the balcony is so nice. The construction happening right now nearby didn’t affect me incase anyone was wondering, because i’m usually out and about by then. They also offer ear plugs if it affects you!
I did not book the room with the bund view, just balcony. But because the first room had issues with the TV, they transferred me to another room where you can see a small glimpse of the bund if you sit more towards railing. (I don’t know if its an upgrade or still within what i booked, but assume it should be within that i booked). The room is 303 incase anyone wants to know!~
Lastly, for anyone who needs to wash their clothes 🧺, they have a little room with a washer and dryer, free to use! They provide detergent and all too~
Anyways, overall 10/10 would recommend anyone to stay here! And thank you for a lovely stay and the little goodie bag when i checked out. Was contemplating to get this cream, but i guess i don’t have to anymore! :)

AAnonymous UserThis is my first time staying in Nanjing, walking may be too far because I don't know the distance, but walking to Yiyuan Park is very close. There are many small restaurants to choose from, but during the two nights I stayed, it was very difficult to deal with rain every day, which was the most difficult part of this trip, but overall it was not too bad to stay in this hotel, but the price I booked was not worth it to be unable to go anywhere because of the rain.

FFreddieliciousToday is my last day at The Westin Bund Center Shanghai. At first, I loved the hotel, but unfortunately, the experience has slowly deteriorated.
Before arrival, I had tried emailing ************************* to make a small request to celebrate an anniversary, but the email failed to deliver with an error saying the recipient’s server didn’t recognize certain characters. I’m not sure why, as the email was in English and sent from my phone.
At check-in, I mentioned this to the receptionist (his name started with “C”), who was very polite and spoke to the lady behind him, asking her to reach out to Angela to assist. He then told me to head to my room and assured me I would be contacted. I waited for an hour in the room with no update, so I went out hoping to find a message upon my return, but sadly, there was still nothing.
The email issue could have been my fault, and that is fine. But what is unacceptable is being promised a follow-up for such a special occasion and then never receiving it. For a hotel of this standard, I expected better communication and service consistency.
Later, my son lost part of his toy, which led me to start searching around the room. While doing so, I discovered dust under every cabinet. Worse, I found what looked like someone else’s cream bottle stuck between the bed and the dresser. This makes me believe that the bottom part of the bed sheet was not changed, as housekeeping would almost certainly have noticed such an item if the bed had been properly stripped and remade.
I have stayed in many Marriott properties, and this is the first time I would give only 2–3 stars. :(

MM309818****We chose this hotel due to its excellent downtown location. It's a short walk to The Bund and Nanjing East Road, and right outside, you'll find a Pop Mart store and large shopping malls. The front desk service was excellent; the staff were very polite, warm, and attentive. One of the ladies was particularly friendly, even lending us her own umbrella. The room was clean, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. We'll definitely be back!
