Pet friendly Hotels Shanghai

Really awesome place! It was really tidy and great value for money. I like it so much that I extended my stay by another 10 days. There are three small malls all within a 10 minute walk which is really convenient when it comes to lunch or dinner. Although, if you plan to go to central Shanghai, it’ll take you close to 40-50 minutes on the metro. Fortunately, the metro stop is only a short walk away.

A few things to say. This was my second stay this hotel, and this time I am glad I haven’t had my family with me. 1. COLD ROOM The room was so cold, even though I tried to adjust the temperature with the A/C it felt like the big glass closed window isn’t properly sealed and cold air from outside was entering the room. 2. LANGUAGE PROBLEMS. I know I am china, but if you work in hotel, special hotel chains and have a regular number of international guests, you should be able to speak a certain english level. I had issue during my check in, and questions that they couldn’t answer me, and also gave me wrong information. 3. BREAKFAST, ok, but could be better!

The hotel is located in a quiet area, slightly off the road, with beautiful and clean surrounding facilities, including a pond, swimming pool, and a sand playground for children. The outdoor pool wasn’t open yet for the season but looked very inviting. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, although the young man at the reception was a bit shy and spoke very quietly. The breakfast room was large but quite noisy, likely due to the public holiday and many guests with children. It was hard to find a seat during peak breakfast time. The room was spacious and clean, with a balcony and electric curtains. The service was excellent, and any issues, like a problem with the air conditioning, were quickly addressed even late in the evening. Additionally, there is an indoor swimming pool and a large fitness room that looked very promising, but due to our limited time, we couldn’t try it out.

Pros: 1. **Excellent location** – The building is steps away from Zhōupú Subway Station (Line 14). Exiting the hotel lobby brings you directly to the subway elevator, making it super convenient for travelers with baggage. The mall adjacent to the hotel also has a subway entrance. 2. **Adjacent mall** – A large shopping mall is meters away from the hotel lobby. The 3rd floor offers a solid selection of local cuisine restaurants, and there’s a well-stocked supermarket on the B1 level (basement) with various adjacent shops too. 3. **Spacious, clean rooms** – The room was generously sized, and the bathroom was OK. We wiped the floors by ourselves and there was no dirt on the floor. Great. Notice: the bathroom sink tube has to be sealed with some hermetic or something else because it's literally loose and so the smell gets into the bathroom from sewerage. 5 minutes work. 4. **Great amenities** – The room includes a microwave, a washing machine with a proper drying function (not just a spin cycle), a spacious fridge, a sofa with a coffee table, a work desk and chair, wardrobes, and other essentials. 5. **Flexible housekeeping** – Cleaning services are provided upon request, no matter how short or long your stay. 6. **Thoughtful touches** – A wireless charger on the bedside table was a nice surprise! 7. **Keyless entry** – No physical key cards to lose or share; access is via a digital system. 8. **Practical bathroom feature** – A towel rack for drying towels. 9. **Comfortable bedding** – Two types of pillows provided for different preferences. 10. **Hygienic flooring** – No dusty carpets – rooms feature easy-to-clean stone floors instead. Cons (mostly building-related, not the hotel itself): 1. **Mixed-use building** – The property feels more like a serviced apartment complex than a traditional hotel. Some floors (like the 12th where we lived) were poorly maintained, though higher floors (e.g., 24th) resembled typical Chinese apartment-style accommodations (but still looked very old and very ”tired”). 2. **Elevator maintenance** – While six elevators are available, they could use more frequent cleaning by building management. 3. **Unusable kitchenette** – Rooms include gas stoves but lack cookware or utensils, making the feature impractical for short stays. (Might be useful for month-long stays, though.) 4. **Entertainment limitations** – The room’s projector and large screen only offer Chinese streaming content with no international options. Access requires a local subscription – my friends lucked out with some content, but I couldn’t get it to work. A minor gripe, but worth noting.

This hotel is always amazingly clean, great service and attention from the staff 24hrs. The location is so convenient, have shopping mall, restaurants, barbershop and even dance studios near by. Has laundry service also available all day/night. I book to stay here every time I’m in Shanghai, highly recommended !!

I started to do various research in February and March, and finally chose Zhumeng Tongyuan B&B. I read the reviews, B&B introductions, and pictures, and they were all very good. As a result, I was not disappointed when I checked in and left. The room pictures were true to life. The owner, the owner's wife, and the front desk lady in the B&B were all very friendly and enthusiastic... No matter how late it is at night, as long as you contact the front desk ladies, they will answer your questions in time and help you solve problems... There are also little rabbits 🐰 and little sheep 🐑 in the yard of the B&B. The owner's wife will feed the children when she sees them want to feed them. Also put it out...for children to interact and touch... I will still choose this B&B when I come to Shanghai again in the future. It is very suitable for parent-child family travel. The environment and air are also very good. There are many kinds of breakfast and the taste is also very good. I like their fried dough sticks and freshly made coffee the most☕️. Finally, there are Mercedes-Benz business cars to pick up and drop off the city airport line and Disney, which is very convenient... The B&B is also very close to Disney and the Wildlife Park, which is very suitable for parents to bring their children to play... This hotel is the one with the largest room area that I have ever stayed in Zhangjiang. Luckin Coffee is downstairs. The hotel is located in Jidian Port. The hotel environment is also very beautiful, with a strong New Year atmosphere. It is very close to the company. The front desk helped to upgrade the room type. There is a washing machine in the room, and there is a parking space at the door, which is very convenient. There is also surveillance at the door, which is very reassuring. The longan and red date tea at the front desk is good. The front desk is beautiful and generous, and the service is warm, proactive, efficient, thoughtful, and professional. The room has good lighting, bright, quiet, comfortable, and clean. The mattress is comfortable, the water is fast, the water temperature is good, and the bathing is comfortable. The Internet speed is fast and the office is convenient. The room is tidy, clean and hygienic. The room aunt is kind, the service is good, and the action is quick and thoughtful. Very good, highly recommended!

I took my kids to Disney and booked this hotel. The environment is beautiful, and there are trampolines, swings and lawns for kids to play. The boss is warm and thoughtful, and helped to make a travel guide. The breakfast is very rich, and I especially like the homemade soy milk and burritos in the store. Dinner was solved directly in the store. The auntie's cooking skills are very good. The children all like to eat home-cooked dishes with the taste of grandma, and the price is reasonable. Four dishes and one soup cost only more than 100 yuan. There are strollers for rent in the store, which is cheaper and more convenient than outside. The store's pick-up service directly delivers to the entrance of Disney in the morning, which is also YYDS. I will book this hotel next time I go to Disney^_^

I really like the design of the B&B. The kids are so happy. Each room is very unique. The room is also relatively clean. Remember to visit Mercury again when you go to Disneyland next time. Stay in another room with a slide haha

We chose this hotel temporarily because we were in a hurry to catch the bus the next day. The ecological park is very large, the service attitude is very good, and the environment is also very good. We had a lot of luggage and upgraded our room type for free. The room decoration style is very good, and the free moisturizing oil smells good.
