Shanghai Minhang District 5-star Hotels

The hotel is located direct at the terminal 2. We stayed for one night because of the early flight. Could highly recommend this hotel for a sleepover in Shanghai. The beds and pillows are very comfortable.  

check in and out was super easy and the staff were super friendly. My room did not have the AC working and after one night of the heat a nice manager helped us and changed the room. The other room had more air flowing in and helped adjust the  atmosphere.  Overall we did not book breakfast and we did not order room service as there are many restaurants around. We like the location since we have friends living in the neighboring compounds and that way we are all very close by.

We recently stayed at the Sofitel Shanghai Hongqiao for the Chinese New Year holiday, and overall, it was a delightful experience. Booking through Trip.com was seamless, and their chatbot was very helpful for any questions we had. The hotel room was impressively spacious, clean, and filled with natural light from the large window, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We did try the pool, but unfortunately, the kids' pool was closed, which was a bit inconvenient since we were traveling with children. The dining options offered a nice variety of Chinese and Western cuisine, although I noticed that the majority leaned towards Chinese dishes. One of the highlights of our stay was the smooth check-in process. We arrived at the hotel around 11 AM and were pleased that they were able to accommodate our request for early check-in. A special mention goes to Max, who was exceptionally accommodating and made us feel welcome. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, but we do hope that the kids' pool will be open during our next visit. Our stay at Aman Yangyun was an unforgettable experience for our family. We arrived at the hotel by taxi from the airport, but we encountered a problem as we couldn’t complete the payment due to issues with our Alipay setup. The hotel staff quickly stepped in, escorting us to the lobby and taking care of the payment on our behalf. Moreover, since the taxi driver had charged us an unreasonably high amount, the staff even negotiated a reduction for us. Their swift and thoughtful actions gave us a great sense of relief. While every aspect of our stay was exceptional, the following experiences left a particularly lasting impression: 1. **Calligraphy Workshop with the Kids** We participated in a calligraphy session as a family, where we learned the techniques of writing and created beautiful pieces under the guidance of the instructor. 2. **Cycling Adventures** We rented bikes and explored the vast forest adjacent to the hotel. The cycling experience was incredibly refreshing and rejuvenating. 3. **New Year’s Fireworks** At midnight on New Year’s Eve, a spectacular fireworks display lit up the sky. The sheer volume of fireworks was astonishing—far beyond what you’d expect from a single hotel. It was a truly satisfying experience, and we could tell that a great deal of effort and expense had gone into the celebration. 4. **Peaceful Landscape with Wildlife** The hotel grounds were home to deer, black swans, and a beautiful river, creating a serene and idyllic landscape that was both calming and delightful. This stay will remain a cherished memory for our family.

Once again staying at the Xiangyuan Hilton in Hongqiao, Shanghai, everything went smoothly. The hotel is located near the Caohejing Development Zone, which can be reached by taxi in 15 minutes, making it convenient for travelling to work. The front desk service was great. I was greeted with a friendly manner and arranged for a nice room. The hygiene of the room was very clean, the linens were very neat, even the cups showed signs of careful cleaning. I enjoyed the gym facilities at this hotel, the variety of equipment was very good for my fitness needs. Overall, a very satisfying stay and would like to return again when opportunity arises

Convenient location to traffic hub and shopping mall. Easy access to airport and high-speed rail. Building and room are new and good condition. Service is good. I've been stay at this hotel 3 times when I visit Shanghai and adjacent cites. Definitely will come to this hotel for the next trip.

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. The service is excellent, with friendly and helpful staff who go the extra mile. They even allowed us to check in early when we arrived in the morning, which was a great help. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything you need. The location is ideal, close to Hongqiao Airport and Hongqiao Railway Station, making it easy to travel both within the city and to other destinations. There’s also a community mall nearby with plenty of dining options, adding to the overall convenience. If you’re visiting the area, this hotel is a fantastic choice for both business and leisure travelers!

The hotel is ideally located in the Hongqiao Hub with many western restaurants on your doorstep, and 5 minutes walk to the metro station. There are shopping malls close by. Service was okay, room was big and spacious, breakfast was good. Overall a pleasant stay.
