The service was exceptional—the staff were kind, attentive, and always willing to help. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. I loved the open-concept shower and toilet design, which added a luxurious touch. The interior decor was unique and stylish, creating a sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere. The hotel’s facilities were impressive, especially the large indoor swimming pool—perfect for relaxation. The overall amenities were top-notch, ensuring a pleasant stay. The location is a bit far from the nearest station, so we had to take around 10 mins taxis when going out. However, once you reach the station, it only takes about 30 minutes to get to central Shanghai, which was convenient for sightseeing. Despite the slight distance, the hotel’s excellent service, beautiful design, and fantastic facilities made it worth it. Highly recommended for a luxurious and comfortable stay!

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-located near the railway station — very convenient for travelers. However, I was quite disappointed with the service. When we arrived, there were several staff members around, but none of them offered to help with our luggage from the car. Even more surprising, no one offered to take our bags to the room. They simply acted as if we weren’t there. For a hotel of this level, I expected much better hospitality and attention to guests.

Lovely and very helpful staffs .Housekeeping staffs are friendly and ensuring we have clean rooms n waters for us to come to. We recently stayed at the Sofitel Shanghai Hongqiao for the Chinese New Year holiday, and overall, it was a delightful experience. Booking through Trip.com was seamless, and their chatbot was very helpful for any questions we had. The hotel room was impressively spacious, clean, and filled with natural light from the large window, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We did try the pool, but unfortunately, the kids' pool was closed, which was a bit inconvenient since we were traveling with children. The dining options offered a nice variety of Chinese and Western cuisine, although I noticed that the majority leaned towards Chinese dishes. One of the highlights of our stay was the smooth check-in process. We arrived at the hotel around 11 AM and were pleased that they were able to accommodate our request for early check-in. A special mention goes to Max, who was exceptionally accommodating and made us feel welcome. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, but we do hope that the kids' pool will be open during our next visit. Very beautiful hotel. Loved the location. Very quiet and close to a mall and plenty of restaurants. The railway station is nearby. The room is very spacious and the bed very comfortable.

I booked it for my friend in India. It's very close to the National Convention and Exhibition Center and there is a shuttle bus. The room is comfortable and I'm very satisfied. Especially the front desk staff, Harry Li, provided enthusiastic and thoughtful service, helping us with invoicing, hailing taxis, and purchasing food. I took My son visited China last week, since our friend have a house nearby so we choose this hotel, initially we booked for 3 nights, planed moved to city center after some gathering with friends, but we renewed the rest of our stay in shanghai here, really enjoyed the service and facility, from front desk, door man to house keeping , restaurant employee, everyone isjust so nice and kind, you can tell they are just doing a great job from bottom of their hearts. ❤️

The room is very spacious. The hotel is just next to a large shopping center so the food choice is great. The breakfast buffet is not expensive. The room is clean and the washing liquids are of Australian brand.

Stay here regularly, a family favourite. Helpful staff. Close to food restaurants and water town. Outdoor pool is perfect when open in the summer so this time of year was nice to sit outside with baby to play in the sun. Changing room facilities need updating and ensure all working. Can’t wait to go back!
