We had an enjoyable experience staying at the Flying Castle Mima Holiday Villa. It is within walking distance to the main square yet maintains peace and quiet from the loud music and activities which is fantastic for our family comprising 3 young children. The room is spacious and the amenities provided were top-notch which made our stay really comfortable throughout, especially after a day full of activities such as hiking and visiting places.
Mr. Wu, who handles the place is really helpful with his recommendations on places to go and activities to do. He arranged a driver and private car to bring us around in Shangrila.
We highly recommend this place for those who are coming to Shangrila.

It was a fantastic 2 nights' stay in this hotel.
The room gives us view of the surrounding mountains and also of the Duzekong temples, which are lit up at night. At the seating area in the room, you can watch the sun rise.
Everything works in the room - hot water is instantanteous, air heater works well, room is spacious. A luxurious vibe in all the amenities provided.
The person in charge of running the place - Mr Wu - is efficient, prompt and courteous in his service. From explaining the amenities in the room to where to sightsee to giving us a ride to the Xianggelila Train Station for our journey back to Kunming, Mr Wu is always full of enthusiasm and helpful.
Take note though that no food is served in this hotel; however there are a number of restaurants within walking distance.

The most memorable hotel I’ve stayed in China so far. I really love the hotel style. I don’t know what’s the style but this make me feel cozy and fullfill my heart. The guy who is the hotel staff is sooooo kind and helpful. He’s willing to help us in all aspects and I’ll defenitely come back to this hotel when I’m back in Shangri-la. ❤️

My parents and I had the most comfortable stay here throughout our trip in Yunnan - our room is clean, spacious, well equipped with quality bedding and appliances. The hotel manager is very sincere, friendly and welcoming - offering us free room upgrade and good advice to travel around ShangriLa. The hotel’s superb location within the ancient town made it easy for us to have dinner and night tour to the tourist attraction solely by foot.

The Hotel's staff is friendly ,he always support anything you want such as travel information ,restaurant . The room have a beautiful view that I can see Dafo temple . Clean and Spacious

It was really the best stay ever. I feel like don’t want to get out of the room. The room was spacious. The interior is top notch! Everything is new. I even got upgraded by the hotelier. Also, the hotelier offer pick-up & drop-off service for us from the train station. The bathroom is super nice with a big bathtub and high-end toiletries. Everything is the best! The bed is super comfy. From where i was from, in order to get this kind of room, i have to pay big sum of money.. this is very rare find! Would recommend my followers to stay at this hotel if they are planning to visit Shangri-La 👍🏻👍🏻

I stayed this hotel with my friend for 2 nights.
They had excellent services like station pickup and fancy facilities.
Especially the room was really nice.
And convenient to seeing Shangri-La town very much.

The hotel is situated just a short walk away from the central part of the ancient city. Amenities were excellent and decor of the whole place was really pretty! Manager in the hotel was also friendly and helpful when we have any questions. would love to stay here again!

Hotel hardware is top notch, we are there during low season, there is only 1 staff taking care of the hotel. But he is extremely responsible and take full ownership. He behaves like a owner instead of employee. Only drawback is there are no F&B options in the hotel, not even breakfast
