The 2 male owners were helpful.
This is the best room out of the 5 hotels I’ve stayed. Though I wished the floor heating could be warmer than 21 degree Celsius. (The male owner said the highest floor heating is 21 degree Celsius in the whole of ShangriLa). He handed me a room heater which helped me very much.
The garden space is lovely.
The local breakfast contains lots of carbs and starch which needs getting used to. They alternate it with 米线.

Excellent customer service. Very comfortable room. Quiet location, easy to sleep, lots of space, within walking distance to the old town, lots of places to eat nearby. I recommend.

The hotel is in a small alley next to the East Gate, and it is quite quiet. There is a small Tibetan-style courtyard with beautiful decoration. The handsome hotel waiter is super enthusiastic, helping you carry your luggage and teaching you how to use the room facilities. At first, my room was on the 3rd floor, but because I thought it was troublesome to climb the stairs, I immediately upgraded it to a suite on the 1st floor! The room is spacious and the bed is super comfortable. The breakfast is very rich, with local specialty butter tea and barley cakes.
