Great hotel/hostel to stay. Location is very good and staff helpful. Hot shower and el. blanket. Room and shower has no heating. Beds are great with plugs and curtain. Mattress is quite hard.

Very nice hotel with a spacious room and very near to the ancient town. The owner is also a very beautiful women who you should get to know if you have the chance, 他很有人情味！

Nice location and the room is ok but the bathroom is outside so I really don’t recommend in winter.

The guesthouse is really cosy, the staff were friendly and they went the extra mile to help me with booking the coach. They have fireplace to cook on, location couldn't be better. One suggestion only: go take shower in the evening as they probably have solar heated water and, meanwhile no warm water in the morning.
Overall a nice place. Great value for your money.

This was the best hotel experience I have ever had and certainly the best I will ever have. When I arrived I was planning on staying only one night but I stayed as long as my visa allowed.
The Wunderfull family who run the hotel are super fun, helpful and include you in all the local activities they do. The names I am writing are probably wrong, but "wang rang" already welcomed me with open arms and always cooked delicious Chinese food. The mother, "Boss", looked super cool, organized everything you needed and was happy to share a lot of laughs. The same goes for her daughter "Qiqi", who also taught me a Chinese game and was always ready to have a nice conversation with you. And then there is the son "Lele".
From the first moment we talked, I knew we were going to be good friends. When we drove around Shangri-la Lake in a Caprio, made a big musical performance while cooking, or played cards and Nintendo Switch all night together. He is just a person who can always make you smile and feel happy from the bottom of your heart. I will be so happy if you come to Germany and visit me, and I will have a free bed for sure. Because in these few days we didn't stay friends. We became bros.
