We spent a week in this lovely family run hotel in the old city, surrounded by cafes and tea-shops, but still quiet. Four rooms total for guests in this house. We rented the spacious one on the 2nd floor with two king-size beds at the opposite ends of a wide living area.Modern bathroom, very big shower, state of the art toilet, and a washing machine, so that you don’t have to travel with a lot of clothes.
Regional tasty breakfast provided (milk-tea, rice soup, bread, honey, bell peppers, hard boiled eggs) with the owners, around the tradtional stove in the main hall. Owners were very friendly, attentive to details, and always ready to help and assist. They took time showing us some beautiful places and picked up us. They don’t speak English, but if you speak a little Chinese or travel with someone in command of Chinese, it will be a perfect place to stay.

It can be said that this is the most surprising accommodation during this trip to Yunnan. The room is spacious and warm, and the bedding is soft and comfortable. Walking into the moonlit night is like walking into the ******* Folk Museum. We sat by the fire and drank butter tea while listening to Brother Nongbu playing the violin and Sister Zhuoma singing. We drank their own milk at night and had the cured pork ribs porridge that had been cooked overnight in the morning. Because we wanted to watch the sunrise on a whim, Brother Nongbu drove us to see the Songzanlin Temple in the morning mist. Everything is perfect. I will come again👍

We chartered a car from Lijiang to Shangri-La. Sister Zhuoma and her handsome husband were waiting there early. Entering the moonlit night was like opening Pandora's box.
The traditional style of the room amazed us❗️The bed was so comfortable. I immediately had the most peaceful sleep on the trip.
Sister Zhuoma and her family were very hospitable. They took out their treasured ******* clothes for my son to change into. Any photo inside the homestay was very photogenic! We were also lost in the welcome home and almost forgot to buy tickets home. Hahaha.
