Shantou Longhu District Hotels

I had a truly pleasurable stay at Sheraton Shantou. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, ensuring every need was met with a smile. The room was spacious, clean, and offered a stunning city view. Dining options were delicious and diverse. Overall, the experience was relaxing and luxurious—definitely a place I’d return to for comfort and quality service. The gym though stage of the art, has quite a lot of mosquitoes. They can improve on this aspect!

This hotel was a great choice! The location is ideal—close to the mall, dining, and transport. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with a complimentary eye mask, which made for a restful night’s sleep. Friendly staff and great amenities rounded out an excellent experience. Highly recommend!

I recently stayed at Diotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is well-maintained, and the room was clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail in both the decor and amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. I also enjoyed the dining options at the hotel — the food was fresh and well-prepared. Overall, Diotel offers good value for a relaxing and comfortable stay. I’d consider staying again and would recommend it to others looking for a calm, well-run hotel.

Pros: 1. the service is great! Yeli at the front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable. Introduced the area and shops for us. 2. the Cantonese restaurant is good. (Don’t order the lobster porridge, not worth the price) the rest were quite nice. The breakfast was amazing. Even better than four seasons in Guangzhou as Marriot has more freshly cooked options. Worth getting the buffet breakfast when booking rooms. 3. the sea view is very nice (if the weather is not foggy) 4. locations: is convenient but not too central. A shopping mall right next to it, but the shopping mall is very quiet and not a lot of shops opened. Cons: 1. The room is good but not splendid. It’s a new hotel, open in 2022, and you can see breakage here and there already. Perhaps the erosion from the sea breeze is that powerful? 2. location: it’s by the sea/harbour, a new development area, so if you want a quiet, relaxing hotel, happy to just eat at the hotel and no mood to explore, this will be suitable. If you want to visit other area, then taxi is your friend. And be mindful when it rains, it will be difficult to get a taxi. (The 4th picture is the lobster rice porridge-not recommended 😅)

It was my first time in Shantou. I liked this city very much and was very lucky to have chosen this hotel! The stay was very comfortable, the room was clean and warm, and the facilities were complete. The hotel has a beautiful environment and is surrounded by green plants, which makes people feel happy. The service staff was particularly warm and thoughtful, and I felt the meticulous care from check-in to check-out. Although the breakfast selection is a bit ordinary, of course you have to go out to taste the authentic Chaoshan cuisine when you come to Shantou~ Overall, this hotel is very cost-effective and absolutely worth the money! Next time I come to Shantou, I will definitely choose here again and recommend it to my friends!

Good hotel with a cheap price. Very convenient from the airport to the hotel. There is a bus station to the airport. The staff is very friendly and helpful especially Ms Pauline Ma. Help me to pay for my tour package using her local bank card while I paid her in cash.

Staffs at the hotel (especially front desk 客服小奕) were really friendly, patience and all ready to help with our queries and requests. Travelling with a group of elderlies were made much easier thanks to them! We really enjoyed our stay there.There is also a Walmart and nice dim sum restaurant 福晋轩酒家(汕头店) nearby :)

In room: large, clean, well sleep, tea and water, ,no refrigerator, no coffee, room no.5019 no city view. In elevator: not clean, bad smell cause of smoking 5 fl.Corridor: beautiful, large , It's the best,if no smoking Overall is good.

As a family with 2 young children, it was pleasant to have two rooms of our desired arrangement that can be connected together via an inside door. The two rooms we booked are both spacious and clean. The decorations were the old-fashioned 90s luxury style. The hotel is opposite a shopping mall and it is easy to reach Walmart and Watson nearby.

My usual stay in Shantou is International Hotel although older but is exceptionally good . This time we decided to try out the newly opened Hampton by Hilton and we were very impressed with its use of latest technology eg : contactless card key which gives direct access to the floor level that one is staying with a swipe of card and prompt response from the housekeeping with the use of robot delivery. The front office staff are very helpful and informative and they helped us to book Didi to our destination when there are no taxis available. The breakfast is varied and good. Of course I still prefer the breakfast at the revolving restaurant on top of International Hotel
