"Location is really convenient it’s near to everything you need for a short trip. Easy to locate just next to mixC. There are also a lot of food around. Famous food street is walking distance. The size of room is big and. Can’t complain for the price. Staff is friendly too. Only downside is you need an access code from the hotel to go up the lift from the lobby. But not really an issue. If you see anyone enter you can just follow in. Will stay here again."

The rooms were spacious, and the housekeeping was meticulous. The bedding was just right, not too soft nor too firm, suitable for family members of all ages. The hotel environment was quiet at night, allowing everyone to get a good rest. The surrounding area has excellent dining, shopping, and entertainment options, so we didn't have to go far for meals or groceries. It was also convenient to take a taxi to various attractions, and the facilities were well-maintained. This hotel is perfect for a big family trip."

"The overall experience at the hotel was excellent! The service provided by the hotel was perfect! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The counter staff (Xiao Shen) offered me a free upgrade to a room with bathtub as I arrived early in the morning and the room was not ready yet. As my departure flight was in the evening, I requested late check-out and the staff extended the check-out time to 2pm. The room is very spacious and clean. Everything was so great! They even provided free dessert in the afternoon everyday during my stay! Highly recommending this hotel if you need to travel to Shantou."

"I've been using Trip.com to book hotels, both domestically and internationally, for over a decade, and this is the first time I'm writing a serious review, for this hotel. The location is excellent, and there are no issues with cleanliness. However, in the room I stayed in, when it was time to sleep, I could hear a loud 'whooshing' sound, like someone was taking a shower with a powerful faucet. The sound was very distinct and jarring. I thought it would eventually stop, assuming it was a neighbor showering, but it continued until 3 AM. I went to the front desk to ask what the sound was and begged to change rooms, explaining that I had a long drive the next day and not getting sleep would be very dangerous. They replied that the hotel was full and they couldn't move me, stating that the hotel had poor soundproofing. They offered me some foam earplugs, saying to just put them in and it would be fine. But the sound continued without stopping until morning, directly hitting my ears and brain nerves; I simply couldn't sleep. How bad is the soundproofing in this hotel? After 1 AM, when people are usually asleep, things generally quiet down. I don't know what facility in this hotel was making such a loud, continuous noise, but it couldn't even meet the most basic requirement for sleep. It must be specific rooms, and if you're unlucky enough to get one, consider it bad luck. The next day, I quickly checked out to escape the noisy environment. Thankfully, I drove for several hours safely. I'm writing this review to warn others that if you plan to book here, it's best to communicate beforehand and make sure you don't get a noisy room. I also hope the hotel improves its noise issue."

"Traveling with a companion, staying at the E-Joo Hotel was an absolute hidden gem. The lobby is simple and clean, and check-in was super fast with no long waits. Our room was spacious, with great natural light by the window, and a TV with screen mirroring, which was perfect for catching up on shows at night. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation, excellent water pressure, and was meticulously cleaned with no unpleasant odors. There are many great local eateries nearby, and getting around was convenient, adding so much comfort to our trip. I highly recommend it to other travelers!"
