This was my first time staying in a Vienna hotel and honestly, I wasn't very impressed.
I checked in late at night after a several delayed trains and despite being offered a free upgrade through the trip.com app, hotel staff still insisted I pay the difference between the two rooms. I ended up refusing the upgrade, and stayed in a bizarre room with no windows - very dark and disorientating at times, but at least it was quiet.
Overall, the room was a good size and fairly clean and the amenities were good, if outdated. The location was close enough to Shenzhen North and downtown Longhua that a taxi is fast and relatively inexpensive.

I was feeling a little unwell, and Manager Luo arranged a late check-out for me free of charge. The room type was also upgraded. The room was tidy and clean. I will continue to stay at Vienna International Hotel next time I go on a business trip.
