Home away from home. A lovely, spacious and welcoming guest house with excellent staff, good food and great cocktails. The additional services of knowledgeable tuk tuk drivers and an English speaking guide also greatly enriched our experience of Siem Reap.

This cute little hotel is very welcoming, homely and has that lovely friendly vibe. Staff are lovely and very helpful, great food, the best smoothies and rooms are big and nicely furnished . Hotel is in a very central area so close to everything, there is always a tuk tuk at the ready , staff will call it for you. Pool was lovely for a swim. We were upstairs along with four other room with a mix and mingle balcony where we sat most late afternoon for a drink A great place to stay Thankyou staff

Everything about this hotel was great except for drainage issues in the shower, but this did not ruin the stay. Lovely large room with an extremely comfortable king sized bed. Balcony overlooked the pool. Quiet neighbourhood. The hotel organised a tuk tuk driver for us, who drove us around for 3 days, including the quintessential Angkor Wat sunrise. Breakfast made to order (yummy pancakes) and you can also get dinner here. Pool was very welcome in the hot weather. About 10-15 minutes walk to the river, markets and Pub Street. Recommended - we just loved the vibe and the small size of the place.

We spent 3 nights in Babel Boutique Hotel. I confess that reading about it in the NYT was influential in our choice. What others have written is accurate: it is small and intimate, with friendly atmosphere and tasty breakfast. Its small pool appeared lovely, tucked under plumerias, but we didn't try it. Smartly, it had metal clothes hangers, which are extremely useful for hanging wet clothes to dry. The staff provided very good recommendations for dinner and the hotel has took-touk drivers, with one of whom we spent a wonderful 2 days. However, responding to emails took a while. Our room was not very clean. The a/c was marginally efficient (it took hours to get to 24 degrees Celsius). There were very few electrical sockets in our room and of those some were not functional. There were 4 main choices for breakfast, and that was it. When I asked them to make a local call for us, I was told they couldn't because they had exhausted their monthly allotment. Would we stay there again? I'm not sure we would. Should I trust reading sources, such as the NYT? I'm still debating on that.

We spent 3 nights here. I was impressed by the fact we were in the middle of the city close to everything, yet the place had a tranquil feel about it. Swimming pool under the perfumed plumeria trees was truly magical! Very friendly Khmer staff, especially Red (waitress) and Mike (who drove us comfortably to the airport). Food was good too!

Fuimos para visitar los templos de Angkor, y la elección de Babel Boutique fue acertada. Está situado a 10 minutos del centro de Siem Reap andando, el personal era extremadamente atento y el desayuno, muy abundante. Las habitaciones eran suficientemente amplias y el hotel transmitía calma y relajación. Hicimos uso de la piscina también.

Super fijn kleinschalig hotel. Ruime kamers en een hele fijne relaxte sfeer. Meerdere keuzes bij ontbijt, prima kwaliteit en vers. Bedden tikkie te hard (zwakke rug) maar in vergelijking met het gemiddelde hotel in Cambodja (bedden meestal hard) een flinke stap comfortabeler. Kortom; heel fijn verblijf in een mooi hotel in een leuke buurt nabij downtown Siem Reap. Aanbevolen!
