This is a special wee hotel. Staff are incredibly helpful and kind. We booked a balcony room and were unexpectedly upgraded to Room 3 on arrival which is very large and has a garden. It was a very nice surprise as the trip was for my 40th birthday. We didn’t ask for an upgrade - they’re just very generous here . We came in September which is the very quiet season and had the whole place to ourselves. The pool is small and picturesque. The hotel grounds are also compact and stunning. Everything is immaculately clean. We loved Napoleon the cat! We booked an incredible Khmer massage through the hotel. We also visited the elephant sanctuary and Ankor Wat through the hotel. They took care of everything and we felt in safe hands throughout. What a wonderful place. Thank you very much to the staff here and the manager who said good morning to us and had a wee chat at breakfast every morning.

Great location, I had a big and brigth room with a very comfortable bed. The food was amazingly good, with fresh juices , home-made bread and cakes for breakfast. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff were great, efficient and always ready to help with a smile. It is not a new, modern place, but it is charming and clean .I find it very good value for money. I definitely recommend it.

Stayed here 3 nights during our visit to Angkor Wat & were delighted with the large, clean, comfortable quiet bedroom with a balcony & good AC! We appreciated the cool swimming pool after a day touring and the restaurant served not only a good breakfast but offered a superb dinner selection. The staff could not have been more helpful, able to arrange taxis from the airport & any tours we may choose.

Fabulous oasis near Pub Street and all within walking distance. Quite and peaceful and very well located with many good restaurant choices nearby as well as Day Spa's, massages and other wonderful shops. This little French style bijoux is a great stop for your stay in Siem Reap. The pool is wonderful and towels are regularly replaced which is almost better than a 5star hotel. The food and selection of wines and drinks is really great and breakfast is perfect with many choices of locally produced jams, fruit and other delights. The rooms are spacious and we had a ground floor room as many stairs to get up to 1st and 2nd floors so that would not suit anyone who has limited mobility. Overall a welcome retreat.

We had a fantastic stay at La Bastide! The staff was very pleasant, friendly and accommodating from the minute we stepped into the hotel. We had a 4:30am sunrise tour booked for Angkor Wat and the staff offered to pack our breakfast to go which was a very nice touch. The room was very nice, spacious and clean. The swimming pool area, the restaurant and the hotel grounds in general were very clean and pleasant. Location is great as well - only a few minutes' walk into the center of town. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap! Tip: you can book all and any tours through the hotel once you check in - the prices are the same as elsewhere but the hotel has verified tuk tuk drivers who were also very pleasant and knowledgeable.

This beautiful boutique is a hidden gem. Centrally located in a quiet street within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Pool is lovely and refreshing and room was spacious and clean with a small courtyard to the rear. Great shower and tea/coffee facilities along with a small stocked fridge. Restaurant food was excellent quality and Sain was so wonderful during our stay. A tranquil vibe to relax away from the hustle of busy streets.

The hotel is an oasis of calm in a busy city. It is small and extra friendly with beautifully designed bedrooms with that certain French he be sais quoi Chris and his team make sure you have everything you need and nothing is too much trouble. No hesitation in highly recommending.

What can I say about this place except that it is very pleasant and masterfully run by Christophe, the hotel manager? A very nice experience in this very charming hotel. Caroline, the owner of the place, is sensational. Thank you to her for this beautiful discovery in the heart of Siem Reap. The place is very well laid out, the rooms are spacious, clean and bright. The pool area is nice and cozy and the pool itself, very clean. Thanks to Christophe for his welcome, to BangSrei "Sa In" for his hospitality and availability as well as to his evening colleagues. Thanks to the Chef "Sok Na" for her succulent and well-presented dishes that were unanimously appreciated by all. Caroline is dynamic and pleasant. She took the time to arrange visits for us in this city and its region that she cherishes so much. The staff is like their boss: a mixture of friendliness and professionalism. Bravo to Caroline and her team!
