Nice premises, pool and beach. Fun entertainment options.
Poor food quality in the buffet style restaurants. Always cold and poor taste. Room service took 2 plus hours and one time didn’t even show up.
We booked premium option and that allowed us to attend a la carte restaurants, but not option to choose which ones we wanted to go. The food was acceptable but again? Good and lacks taste. Italian was our best experience in service and food quality.
We stayed for 4 days and is okay for the price. Will not return.

Everything was great! Food options, landscaping, entertainment, customer service. We’ve been coming to Barcelo for the past 20 years and it’s still the same furniture. Completely outdated, TV’s have diagonal lines and apparently many are like that so please renovate asap!

Loved this place. So many options to eat, drink and relax!! Very well kept beach with activities to enjoy. We spent a week and could have easily gone for 2 or 3 without getting bored. Highly recommend it for couples or families!! Also, we bought a package through ******* and saved a lot.

It was a large and beautiful property. Everything is perfect about this resort. The seaweed is very bad right now. So the beach is not too enjoyable. The landscaping is very nice! The beds and pillows were comfortable. The food was just okay. It’s pretty much the same stuff everyday with no flavor. But that’s at all resorts. The only thing we had issues with is the staff. No one seemed to be happy doing their job. You ask for something and they make faces, they act like you are bothering them. And, it wasn’t just one or two. It was at every meal we went to. And, we are tippers for everything. But the way they would respond, and have attitude. Made us not want to tip. So that’s definitely something mgmt needs to work on. The employees. I asked for two clean towels. The woman smacked her teeth and basically threw them at me. But other than that. Everything was great!
