The place could be nice. So many security guards and staff. Security guards are a little scary. 6 full time security guards surrounding a small hotel. Very weird, I would not be back due to this reason alone. Very unsettling

As my friends and I arrived, things seemed alright and beautiful. The service seemed (seemed) fabulous and great. As the stay moved on, we all noticed that it is all a facade!? The service declined and became unfriendly. The energy of the entire place was very off-centered. Not to mention the strange stench that was discovered here and there. OMG this place is horrifying. Beware and go elsewhere!!

Excellent choice if you are looking for a peaceful boutique style hotel at very reasonable price. We chose the one-bedroom suite which was very spacious, well decorated, full kitchen, and very comfortable bed. Great intimate pool area (very nice), plus open restaurant-bar with fabulous-friendly staff and good food and cocktails. No direct beach access, but nice large canal in back where you can use the hotel kayaks or long board and was told can actually paddle few minutes and reach beach. Also, can reach beach area and rest of complex walking 10-15 min, or rent golf cart. Very secure private complex/community area with other hotels, apts, homes, golf course, restaurants, marina, dolphin sanctuary, etc. Look forward staying here in the near future. Please take note that this is a small hotel and doesn't offer certain activities, spaces, etc you will find at the larger all-inclusive hotels in that general area but is a perfect option for those looking for a more intimate and peaceful stay and basically halfway between playa del carmen and tulum. Allows great sightseeing.

Very good hotel with swimming pool, access to the lake and very friendly staff. The bedroom was perfect very clean and comfortable. The place is a very good option to avoid the other big touristic hotels of the city. I do recommend this hotel.

I stayed here with my partner. At first we thought it was really cute that there were monkeys that came on property, because it was a beautiful setting. There were 2 monkeys we used to see all the time - one was a larger one, but slower (call him Barry), and one was a wiry one with a bit of almost yellowish stringy hair (call him Rico). They seemed like buddies, but something must have happened because over our stay, Rico screamed every time Barry came near, and instead of knocking Rico down, Barry eventually stopped coming around, which was sad because we liked Barry. One day we were giving Rico some food, and he bit my partner! Can you believe it? We were feeding him for a week then he bit us. When we tried to call animal control, because he is clearly unsafe, the front desk staff stopped us and said Rico is a good little monkey, he doesn't mean any harm. But we talked to the 1 other person (hotel was empty), and he had also been bitten by Rico and had to go to the hospital to make sure he was ok. Its ok though, because to make sure my partner and myself were safe, we scared the living hell out of little Rico. I won't say how, we just figured out how. And now we know, if we come visit this lovely hotel (absent the biting monkey Rico, the odd staff who don't care if guests get bitten, and the sad monkey Barry) that we'll just need to have Rico put into an animal control center, where he won't bite anyone else.

Was there for a few days and there was all kind of security following this one guy. Turns out, he's wanted for like 5 cases of fraud. Felt like there would be a police raid at any time and very uncomfortable there. Avoid at all costs. Also the staff were all on edge and weird because I guess everyone knew except me, the hotel was empty.

I had an amazing time here at the Kasa Hotel Riviera Maya. My sister and I stayed here for an entire week. Very beautiful hotel! Customer service was excellent, the staff was attentive, responsive, and very friendly. The food was very good. My sister and I also felt very safe staying here, security was always present and walking around the property at night. I really want to to thank the staff for treating us so well. I will highly recommend everyone to stay here and I will be back to experience this hotel in the near future.

We should have posted sooner…when we arrived at the hotel, we were so impressed with the beauty of the property and accommodations!! The food was outstanding as their chef, Francisco, was creative, open to suggestions and created amazing dishes!!! The waitstaff exceeded our expectations and we were treated above and beyond our expectations!!! All of the hotel staff were friendly and helped us have an incredible experience!! We felt extremely special to spend this vacation with such a wonderful staff!!! We look forward to returning for 2 weeks I. February 2023!!! We can’t say. enough about how this staff treats everyone like they are special!! The professionalism was off the charts and this is a place everyone should experience!!!
