____________________ THE GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION ---------- Located at the port of Soller, good location because you will be 200m from the port on foot in a quiet, slightly out-of-the-way environment. In the immediate vicinity nothing but of course at the water's edge 200m away you will find all shops and restaurants. Be careful in low season, many restaurants are closed. ____________________ THE HOTEL AND THE RECEPTION ---------- Pretty building which seems well maintained, both outside and in the reception/common areas. No reception service, you will have an email with instructions/code to retrieve your key independently whenever you want. Practical. Stairs to access the rooms. ____________________ THE ROOM ---------- On arrival already the disaster, despite a reservation in due form, an arrival within the authorized time slot (after 5 p.m.), enough to do the proper cleaning , well the room was not made at all! Little occupancy in low season but nothing is prepared, fortunately a cleaning lady was there but 30 minutes of obligatory waiting while she cleans everything... Unacceptable and seems to be poor management. Apart from that, spacious room with private bathroom, wardrobe, air conditioning, TV, towels and products, no desk. Average cleanliness as the cleaning was done quickly and to the best of its ability. Average soft/old bedding, but no noise at night. ____________________ THE RESTAURANT ---------- The breakfast service is offered at the table, industrial products but good variety/quantity (cold meats cheese bread pastries, drinks). But poorly organized: nothing ready, wait of at least 20 minutes, manager totally overwhelmed, croissants cooked in a hurry, golden on the outside and raw on the inside... The breakfast following the 2nd night was this time well managed by the other manager. .. ____________________ QUALITY/PRICE AND SERVICES RATIO ---------- So poor service/price ratio given the poor management of the establishment, and in addition problem for payment/reservation since we have was debited 2x... In fact the establishment was bought or works with another hotel in Soller and the 2 managers made the debit without managing/consulting... Fortunately this was seen in time on my online account in order to get a cash refund! There is a drinks dispenser but not functional (in low season?) The wifi is free and works well. Paid public parking 100m away, free out of season so not bad! ____________________ IN SUMMARY ---------- Establishment at a good price but very bad experience with a lot of problems that followed: cleaning not done, breakfast nothing ready while all the customers are installed, direct debit double... I can only not recommend this accommodation.
