The food and service were excellent. Hotel spotlessly clean. Fabulous location with stunning views from our room on the 3rd floor.

Felt at home from the second we walked through the door. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was perfect with a beautiful view across the bay. Breakfast was so delicious. We had munch and dinner whilst we were there and it was fantastic Pool area was great. Plenty of space. Great bar and tables for Lodi’s or they were happy to bring it to your bed. Really want to come back.

Hotel Salino at face value is a really nice hotel. The finishings and decorations are impressive but that ends when it comes to customer service. I’ll start with the good: 1. Breakfast is absolutely phenomenal. One of the best omelets if ever eaten. Good news ends there… Cons: 2. The views don’t negate the fact that going to the pool is basically a “serve yourself” experience. Drinks ordered based on the menu came with a 3 euro up charge because “none of the prices are right” which was a quote from the bartender. The rooftop is a small square footage but you still have to ask for everything and even then you might not get the simple drink you asked for 3. We showed up 10:30 am for a breakfast that closes at 11 am and we’re basically served an attitude. Asked for water and champagne multiple times that never came and there’s nothing worse than feeling like you’re the bad guy when you’re the one paying for basic services 4. Upon checkout and looking over the bill we wanted to go over it since everything you order is charged to the room and when given the bill we were told “I loved at everything it’s all in there” as if this person was with us at every order placed throughout our 2 day stay. 5. Given the fact that it’s 100 degrees here at the time of our stay we wanted to enjoy the pool. The flimsy umbrellas toppled over on multiple occasions and instead of a solution provided we were told we had to “close our umbrellas” due to safety issues and were forced to bake in 100 degree heat. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the food was surprisingly impressive but if you’re looking for a laid back experience I’d look elsewhere. I typically don’t leave bad reviews but when you pay $400+ a night for a room i am expecting the amount of service I paid for. Nobody should ever feel hesitant to ask for basic necessities. My lesson is that every hotel in Mallorca doesn’t have a doorman so it’s a fend for yourself environment and maybe that’s my fault for expecting it on an island I’ve never been to. Regardless there was nothing luxury about our experience and I wish I had more positive things to say but considering the price of the room I can’t confidently say it’s worth the money.

Five days of bliss. - Salino is a brand new refurb. Tastefully Baleric-themed, featuring muted greens and beiges. - We had a junior suite (room 408) - a large room with a fantastic view over the pool area and into the port. - Beds - huge, supremely comfortable in airy air-conditioned rooms. - Great breakfasts - a bottle of cava on ice, a large buffet selection alongside freshly cooked eggs your way. Well-made coffee too. - Staff - universally delightful. On an island full of lovely Mallorcans, Salino's staff are top grade. Special shout out to charming manager Aitor alongside the kind, entertaining and enthusiastic Camila (Maria) who looked after us with great professionalism. Chats with a couple of fellow guests revealed they were swapping their usual Hotel Esplendido for the Salino. A ringing endorsement from Port De Soller's biggest fans. Highly, highly recommended. We will return.

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel. We arrived later in the evening and they accommodated us with a delicious late night dinner. The room was spacious and had a wonderful view from the patio and private rooftop deck. The staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay here again.

This hotel enjoys a prime location at the quieter end of Port Sóller’s promenade, offering a peaceful atmosphere while still being just a short 5-minute walk from a supermarket and a wide selection of restaurants. The setting strikes a nice balance between convenience and calm. The staff is generally friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast is a real highlight: a generous spread of cold and warm options, with the warm à la carte menu particularly well done. Our room was tastefully furnished and very comfortable. However, the main drawback, and the reason I’d hesitate to rebook, is the inconsistency in room views, even within the same category. We had booked a Deluxe Seaview room, expecting the type of panoramic vista shown on the booking site (which clearly featured higher floors). Instead, we were initially placed on the 4th floor, where our "Seaview" was largely blocked by the rooftop pool and rows of sun loungers just below on the roof of the 3rd floor. Privacy was limited, and the experience didn’t come close to what was advertised. After two nights, and multiple discussions with the front desk and management, we were moved to a 5th-floor room. Although supposedly in the same category, the difference in view, privacy, and overall experience was stark. From the 5th floor, we finally enjoyed the tranquil sea view we had booked and paid for (attached a photo of the view from each room for reference). This inconsistency is the hotel’s biggest weakness. Rooms with such vastly different views and levels of privacy should not fall under the same category. It feels unfair to leave such a crucial part of the guest experience to chance at check-in, especially when the price point is identical. I would strongly urge the hotel to reclassify these rooms more transparently, perhaps distinguishing between “Pool-Level Sea View” and “Upper-Floor Panoramic Sea View”, so that guests can make informed decisions and avoid disappointment. Until then, despite many positives, I’d think twice before booking here again.

The most incredible experience at Salino this past week! The hotel itself is absolutely stunning - gorgeous boho chic vibes and a truly beautiful place to stay. The staff were so friendly and attentive, the pool area was a dream and the breakfast… wow!! The best hotel breakfast I’ve ever enjoyed. I’ve also never seen views like it. We’re already planning our next trip here! So perfect for couples looking for a relaxing, premium holiday experience.
