"I recently stayed in an Executive Suite Ocean View room at D Varee Jomtien Hotel. The room was very spacious and offered a beautiful sea view. The hotel provides a wide range of amenities which made the stay comfortable and convenient. The room itself was a bit dated and there was a slight moldy smell when I first entered. Another downside was the prolonged waiting time for the elevators, especially during busy periods. On the positive side, the breakfast was excellent. There was a wide selection of food, catering to different tastes and everything was fresh and delicious. Overall, I enjoyed my stay thanks to the spacious room, great amenities and excellent breakfast. With some refurbishment and improvements to the elevator service, the experience would be even better."

"The hotel is beautiful and very clean with excellent service. The room was fragrant and spacious, and the breakfast was delicious. The swimming pool was very clean; we spent several hours there. I recommend this place for those with a private car, as getting in and out can be a bit difficult, and it's far from the beach. It's quiet and peaceful, truly perfect for relaxation."

"We booked this hotel for a two-night stay, arriving late around 22:00. While we originally booked a small twin room with no balcony, we decided to upgrade to a Junior Suite with a balcony upon arrival. 🛏️ The Room & Comfort The Good: The room is exceptionally large and completely pest-free (no bugs, roaches, or bad smells). The bed is excellent, featuring a large, comfortable mattress with fresh white bedding and a warm blanket. Sockets are conveniently located in every corner. The Bad: Our second-floor balcony sat directly above a designated smoking area. In the shower, it was hard to make the water just warm, it was always either too cold or too hot. 📺 Appliances & Tech WiFi: Did not work upon arrival, though staff resolved the issue by the second day. Television: Very old, non-smart TV with no Netflix, YouTube, or international channels. The screen flickered constantly, making it look like a bad 90s video filter. Air Conditioning: Old and noisy, but it successfully cooled the room down very quickly. Kitchenette: Includes a microwave and a stove, but no pots or frying pans are provided. You must bring your own cookware if you plan to use the stove. 🍳 Dining & Breakfast Served buffet-style and tasted amazing. Features plenty of eggs, chicken, pork, fresh/cooked vegetables, fresh fruit, and baked goods. But there were no seafood or fish available. 🌳 Hotel Grounds & Location Ambiance: Very cozy, traditional Asian-style property decorated with beautiful elephant statues, koi carp ponds, and fragrant blossoming trees. Unbeatable location. A 7-Eleven is less than a 1-minute walk away. Jomtien Beach and the main bus terminal are both a short 5-minute walk. Local songthaew run directly past the hotel. 🔄 Verdict We would happily stay here again for a short-term visit, but the outdated electronics and shower issues might make a long stay frustrating"

"I highly recommend this hotel. The staff are incredibly pleasant and kind; they helped me with everything and answered all my questions. They even let me store my food and drinks in their freezer upon request. The room was clean, and the bed was huge and comfortable. No insects were found in the room. The furniture isn't old, everything is well-maintained, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. It was a real pleasure staying here for a week. However, the cleaning could be better. The shelves and fridge weren't wiped down for dust, only being cleaned during the second service after I specifically asked them to. It was mostly quiet, except for the last night when other guests were noisy, and it was quite audible. The location is ideal, with a market just a three-minute walk away and plenty of other amenities nearby. Walking half an hour to the beaches wasn't an issue for me at all. I would gladly return to this hotel again 💗"

"The hotel looks very nice from the pictures but effectively is a bit run down . The staff were great . They went that extra step to try providing the best possible service and they succeed . Need to pay more attention to the cleaning of the room and the pool area . For a week it was ok . First night no AC . Second last night work in progress and no water the whole morning . More than that I will find hard . They have an excellent breakfast/brunch style buffet for just 250 bath ."

"I would like to share my experience, focusing primarily on the customer service. While the room itself was acceptable and the facilities were reasonable for the price—despite the lack of a Smart TV—the check-in process at reception was completely unacceptable. The staff member was unfriendly and lacked basic hospitality. While they seemed pleasant with other guests, their attitude shifted completely when it was my turn. I felt a clear sense of discrimination, perhaps due to my nationality or passport. Even though I asked simple questions, they responded with visible impatience. What they might not have realized is that I also work in the hotel industry here in Thailand, holding a senior position in the Front Office. I am fluent in Thai and understand the culture well. Choosing to check in using English shouldn't result in such a cold and dismissive attitude. It was a highly unprofessional encounter that has left a very bad impression. I don't know how this hotel manages its service standards or what actions will be taken, but I will certainly not be returning. ผมขออนุญาตแชร์ประสบการณ์การเข้าพัก โดยเน้นไปที่การบริการลูกค้าครับ ในส่วนของห้องพักถือว่าโอเคและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกสมกับราคา แม้จะไม่มี Smart TV แต่สิ่งที่ยอมรับไม่ได้เลยคือการบริการตอน Check-in ของพนักงานต้อนรับครับ พนักงานไม่มีความยิ้มแย้มแจ่มใสเลย ในขณะที่เขาบริการลูกค้าคนอื่นด้วยท่าทีที่ดี แต่พอถึงคิวของผม ท่าทีกลับเปลี่ยนไปอย่างเห็นได้ชัด ผมรู้สึกถึงการเลือกปฏิบัติ ซึ่งอาจจะมาจากสัญชาติในพาสปอร์ตของผม พนักงานแสดงอาการไม่เต็มใจตอบคำถามและไม่มีความอดทน สิ่งที่พนักงานอาจไม่ทราบคือ ผมเองก็ทำงานในอุตสาหกรรมโรงแรมในประเทศไทยเช่นกัน และดำรงตำแหน่งระดับบริหารในแผนกต้อนรับ (Front Office) ผมสามารถพูดและสื่อสารภาษาไทยได้เป็นอย่างดี แต่การที่ผมเลือก Check-in เป็นภาษาอังกฤษ ไม่ควรเป็นเหตุผลให้พนักงานแสดงท่าทีที่เย็นชาและดูถูกเช่นนี้ เป็นการกระทำที่ขาดความเป็นมืออาชีพอย่างมาก ผมไม่แน่ใจว่าทางโรงแรมมีการจัดการมาตรฐานการบริการอย่างไร หรือจะมีการดำเนินการแก้ไขอย่างไรบ้าง แต่สำหรับการเข้าพักครั้งนี้ทำให้ผมตัดสินใจได้ทันทีว่าจะไม่กลับมาใช้บริการที่นี่อีกแน่นอนครับ"
