"Great value for money hotel. We didn't opt for breakfast. It's about a 1 km walk to 7/11 and the beach is also around 1 km away. But we had a scooter, so we explored a new beach every day. We stayed opposite the water park, on the second floor of a bungalow. The room was large, with a terrace. Housekeeping is done on request. You can rent a scooter at the hotel for 250 baht, which is cheaper than on the street. What I loved about the island is that you can easily cruise around on a scooter without traffic. There are many beaches and places to visit."

"What an incredible place! Weâre staying at the Twin Lotus Resort & Spa (adults-only during this season) on Koh Lanta, and we couldnât be happier. The location is fantastic: itâs right on Klong Dao Beach, a super long stretch of beautiful white sand. Even at low tide, itâs all soft sandâno rocks or coral to worry about. In the mornings, itâs pure bliss to walk for miles along the shoreline with the calm sea and peaceful atmosphere. Absolutely lovely.
The resort itself is spectacular. Surrounded by tall palm trees and lush tropical gardens, it feels like a real oasis of calm. No kids around (strictly adults only), so you can truly breathe in the peace and tranquilityâperfect for relaxing and disconnecting.
The infinity pool is stunning, positioned right in front of the beach with comfy sun loungers and high-quality towels. You can spend the whole day switching between the pool, the sea, and a shady spot under the palms⌠heaven!
The staff are incredibly friendly and attentiveâalways smiling, super helpful, and the service is top-notch. Breakfast is excellent with a great variety and everything tastes delicious. In general, the food at the resort restaurants is really good, both in quality and presentation.
Honestly, itâs rated as 4 stars, but in terms of experience, it outshines many 5-star places weâve stayed at before. I have no idea why it doesnât have 5 stars officiallyâitâs spotless, beautifully maintained, and the overall vibe is just perfect.

"Mornings in the mountains were magical: sunshine, sudden downpours, misty clouds, the calls of monkeys, the singing of birds... Suddenly, I found myself thinking that trekking up and down the slopes two or three times a day wasn't so bad after all! [grinning emoji]
As my departure approaches, I'd like to share my review of this hotel. Overall, our stay was incredibly comfortable. The room was spacious, and the balcony was enormous â even bigger than the room itself! (If you're not worried about the local monkeys making off with your belongings, you can really spread out there! [laughing-crying emoji]) The air conditioning was excellent, the water pressure was strong, and surprisingly, the water wasn't salty at all. The staff were exceptionally warm and friendly. Once you head down the hill, within a five-minute walk, you'll find everything you need: the beach, a 7-Eleven, a laundry shop, travel agencies, and the famous Lanta Pizza. The hotel also has its own scooter rentals available, and you can usually bargain the price down to match what you'd find at shops outside.
If you inquire when booking, there are a few room types located lower down the hill. However, the two-bedroom villas and rooms near the infinity pool are all situated on the ridge. For young couples who appreciate peace and quiet, I highly recommend these options. But for multi-generational families with elderly members and young children, like ours, I'd advise choosing carefully.
A special thank you to NI at the front desk for her absolutely outstanding service! And also to the lovely young lady (whose name I didn't catch, but she was so sweet and wonderful) who served us at the hilltop poolside restaurant. Thank you all for giving us a perfect holiday!"

"We stayed at rawi warin for 4 nights in one of the hillside rooms. The room was spacious with a small balcony. The bed in particular felt huge as it was 2 beds pushed together. As other reviews mention, the hillside rooms are about a 10 mins walk away from the main pool. Walking is quite pleasant though as you are surrounded by greenery. And there's a closer hillside pool that has a great view. The facilities were great esp. the main pool which was huge, chlorine free, and very empty past 6pm - we were often the only ones using it in the evening. Also enjoyed the table tennis and pool tables. My only piece of feedback is that the resort could be better lit at night - it was too dark walking down paths/stairs. Loved seeing lizards and monkeys around the resort. Didn't try the hotel food much - there are some good restaurants a short walk away. The stretch of beach attached to the resort was beautiful and good for swimming."

"The reviews giving this place give stars as their favorite place are a bit overzealous. The views are definitely spectacular but the deficits aren't lacking. The pros do not justify this hotel; simply that ko lanta is a great destination.
Keep in mind: there is no lotion nor conditioner here: curly hair, especially type 4, will suffer. The is no washcloth, phone in the rooms, nor hot tub. Wifi is guarded more than the nuclear football, rooms are certainly worn, there are no USB outlets. For couples: there are definitely young kids here who will never remember the trip, so you may hear crying during breakfast or when trying to get a massage. The maids are neglectful at replacing room amenities, the safe is broken and this place is not vegan friendly. They served me egg in the first dish ordered after recommending I simply let their restaurant know. I did not get the impression that they really understand how to handle dietary needs. The restaurant is awfully overpriced and the food is okay if you even trust the restaurant. Breakfast I stuck to fruit only... I had to go into town for food; Drunken Sailor tasted amazing.
Staff friendliness could use improvement. They could at least try to hide their disdain for tourists better. This is expressed with body language and also verbally as we were told false information more than once, when greetings don't even preface with a hello and when staff prioritize chatting with each other rather than assisting a guest.
When I asked for Sfiff's name, since nobody wears name badges nor introduces themselves.. to properly greet her. She acted like I was asking for her first born son!
They conveniently don't mention that due to Ramadan, there's closed shops and you have to rent a bike to reach the nearest one. That would have saved an hour of time.
If you opt in to the hotel taxi service, it will take 3 hours to reach the hotel at 3,000 baht one way. No food or water after a long flight and travel were provided, so please get it from the airport. Google âMun Lantaâ taxi for 2200 baht taxi via Whatsapp, where they also provide food and water.
Furthermore, the system to rent a motorbike is convoluted as you will incur late fees if not returned in time. Why not simply charge for the actual time instead of playing games with late fees and guesstimating return time?
This hotel is far overpriced. Get something for half the price, rent a motorbike in town to access better restaurants and the same street. That's my STRONG recommendation."

"The villa we booked was priced at 288 square meters, which is actually only a house of 100 square meters in China. Four people are very crowded in the house, and the built-in swimming pool is also relatively small. The 49㥠villa booked for the second night was more comfortable than the 288㥠one. There was a public swimming pool at the door, which was not equipped with dental equipment. The surrounding area was relatively desolate and there were no businesses. Massage and meals could only be provided at a few shops on the beach."

"This is a lovely place to enjoy all Thailand has to offer: I went during low season and feel that during high season with the restaurant opened, sun loungers out and mini mart , this is an ideal location.
During low season it is easy to find places to sunbath and eat along the beach. It would have been nice not to have to walk through all the washed up rubbish every day to get to these places though.
May is happy to organise what you want and I definitely enjoyed my stay"

"Booked four nights with three different room types during Chinese New Year. When we moved to the family room, there was a power outage from 3 to 5 PM, and it got incredibly hot inside. The living room was downstairs, with two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. The hotel is quite large for the island, but the overall facilities are very old and outdated. The front desk service was okay, but there was a male waiter in the restaurant who spoke a little Chinese and was very rude. When we were eating in their restaurant, he started clearing our plates before we were even finished, as if he was rushing us out. We tried a few restaurants on the island, and this one had the worst service by far! Oh, and the breakfast in the morning was absolutely terrible, with hardly anything worth eating."

GGuest UserIt cost 150đ per person from the pier. Check-in was in the middle. Ms. Guan was a nice lady and took us to the room. Having said the precautions, the most important thing is to remind us monkeys. When monkeys come back to eat, lock the refrigerator door and donât put important items in the living room. We all thought it was a joke, but it turned out that the monkeys were really rampant. Monkeys will dig through trash cans, eat all the coconut meat, and even sneak into the room to eat snacks... so be sure to lock the door when you go out. The toilet in the room is open-air, and there are snakes. We all saw them, but they were very small. When I came back in the evening, there were a lot of hermit crabs, snails, and geckos by the pool. The ecology is very good, like a zoo, hahaha. The hotel rents a motorcycle for 250đ.

It has 2 big pools, a great and clean beach, you can do sap, snorkeling and just hang.
Very pretty restaurant at the cliff but even better at the beach.
The room service was great and we loved koh lanta.
The transport to the krabi air port is a big plus.
I have to be honest, in our first day, the service was not so great, the stuff looked like they are suffer, and some tables got a lot of attention, but ours, well eventually we had to stand and go look for some waiter to ask the bill.
Let's put it that way- we have seen much happier stuff in a 4 stars resorts.
But the second night and third, we have to mention wud and fung were the best service and vibe at the beach restaurant.
Even though we are a smokers, they arranged a beautiful table, and even got us some cookies and special tabbaco.
Overall, beautiful place and people.
We will definitely return.

Facility was a bit old, but clean and well-maintained.
House keeping staff was very friendly and neat.
They checked in again in the evening for extra amenity every evening.
Restaurant was great - deep-fried pork rib and pad Thai.
During the day at the pool, they offered water & pineapple for free.
Though it rained during my stay, I enjoyed my slow time by the pool.
I would recommend for people who want quiet, clean environment with good service.
And it is also closer to the diving port area (free pick-up/drop-off).

MMathanjaAmazing location room was big clean and everything was included bathroom towels. The people are very friendly and the are not expensive. We did a thai massage 1 hour for 2 persons 900bht. We booked only the breakfast this was very good buffet for every one on different countries. GGuest UserThe hotel is very beautiful, and I also saw a super beautiful sunset. I highly recommend this vacation. It is very quiet. There is also a horse and chicken to enjoy in the hotel. The hotel swimming pool is also very clean and hygienic.

TTomB21We had a great stay. Our room was very clean, modern and spacious. The pools were big and not at all crowded, so perfect for relaxing. The pool bar and restaurant staff were very friendly, making us feel very welcome. The reception team were also very helpful with our requests. Good breakfast.
Location was also ideal - quiet and felt in nature. Easy access to both a private and public beach. The public beach leads to lots of bars and restaurants (some with fireshows) within about 10 to 15 minutes of walking which is great at sunset / in the evenings.
We would definitely reccomend / wish to visit again !
