The Manifold Trail which is a surfaced track suitable for both walking and cycling runs for 8.5 miles between Waterhouses and Hulme End. Other cycle and walking trails within the area include the Tissington, High Peak and Monsal Trails. Lovely walks are available along the many miles of footpaths and lanes within the surrounding area and the network of surfaced trails and lanes within the area make the cottage an ideal base for walking all year round.
