"I booked the bunk-bed room, which turned out to be incredibly small and very inconvenient. The following day, I found a guesthouse run by a local near Enoshima for a comparable price. There, I had access to the entire property, including a lounge, a study area, a bathroom, and free laundry facilities. It was a perfect experience, and I highly recommend seeking out similar options. When visiting Kamakura, I suggest simply buying the Enoden One-Day Pass, as all the main attractions are within a 10-minute ride on the Enoden line. The only advantage of the bunk-bed room was its closeness to the beach."

"This was the most pleasant stay in Kamakura we had! Glad to have an opportunity to write a review. I went to Japan in beginning of November with my younger brother, the weather was warm. We were intended to stay in Kamakura for 2 days (1 day in beginning and 1 day in the end of our trip). A hotel near both to Enoshima and Kotoku-in. The service was incredible. The room was neat and tidy with AC, TV, balcony and matcha tea set, also we could see a sea from the balcony. Hotel has spacious bathroom with mini onsen. The hostess of the hotel was very polite to us. One time we were late to check in, so we called from reception, and she began to apologize politely and walked down from the top floor to give us the keys to our room. We felt a bit awkward) Then she gave us 2 towels for free, when they cost 200 yen, it was nice bonus. Btw every time we checked out, a hostess was giving to us postcards =) We had lots of positive emotions. So, I highly recommend this place to stay in Kamakura."

"The hotel is conveniently located just one stop above Kamakura Station, making it easy to find. The room was even better than the photos, quiet, and the service was excellent and patient. It was convenient to leave luggage at the hotel after check-out, allowing for easy travel. Getting up early allowed me to catch the sunrise and see Mount Fuji with excellent visibility. Kamakura High School was practically empty before 9 am, but there were long queues on the way back. Staying here for one night is incredibly good value! However, I recommend exploring the city for a while before staying here, as most shops close around 6 pm."
