"It had to be a Chinese-owned hotel with a pool.
Coming to Laos for a vacation from Xishuangbanna⛱️
When choosing a hotel, I discovered that the Aman Resort, where Haruki Murakami stayed, costs 10,000 yuan per night. I was shocked❗️
I had no idea there were such expensive hotels in Laos.
So, my friend and I discovered this hidden gem 🏨
👍👍👍👍👍Noah Resort Hotel
Great value
and a fantastic experience.
🌟The huge pool has a Laotian feel, and it's obvious the owner meticulously designed it. I come back every day to swim laps.
🌟Breakfast includes rice, noodles, stir-fried vegetables, drinks, and fruits like rambutan. It's a truly Chinese experience. I still miss the noodles I had every morning with sesame oil, absolutely amazing!
🌟The hotel offers free airport and station pick-up. We had our own private van, saving us from waiting at the station for a shared ride.
🌟The hotel also helped me change money, offering a thoughtful butler service.
🌟On the fourth day, we went to Kuang Si Waterfall. The hotel rented a motorbike for me, saving me a lot of hassle. I didn't have to worry about leaving my passport at the rental agency. It was safe and worry-free at the hotel, and the price was only 50 yuan per day.
🌟One-on-one butler service, all in Chinese, and all the hotel staff speak Chinese.
🌟The room was super large, with a bathtub and thoughtful amenities, including a smart toilet and a top-tier brand showerhead.
Don't worry if you don't speak English well when traveling abroad. Chinese hotels are known for their peace of mind. I'm planning to take my parents to Laos again for Chinese New Year. Luang Prabang has a relaxed pace, perfect for a vacation!"
