Das Hotel liegt direkt an einer Schleuse. Von der großen Terrasse aus hat man einen direkten Blick auf die vorbeifahrenden Boote, für Schatten ist gesorgt. So kann man bei gutem Wetter den Tag nett ausklingen lassen. Während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde abends zum Essen ein Buffet angeboten. Da unser Kleiner, drei Jahre alt, etwas wählerisch beim Essen ist, hat er aber trotzdem eine Extraportion Pommes bekommen. Für die Erwachsenen war in jedem Fall genügend Auswahl vorhanden. Gleiches gilt für das Frühstück,es war alles vorhanden was man üblicherweise benötigt, daneben einige Extras. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Zimmer waren recht neu eingerichtet, vor dem Fenster war ein Mückengitter, so dass die Nachtruhe gesichert war. Das Hotel liegt im Übrigen sehr ruhig, schöne Ausflüge etwa nach Rheinsberg oder zum Stechlinsee sind möglich. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit.
