The building itself was old but well reformed and also clean and tidy. There was a nice desk in the room for work so it is good for workation. Morning buffet was also good. Staff members were kind. Public bath was little bit tiny but we liked it. About 10 min walk, there is Kami Suwa Station, Convwnience stores, local super market TSURUYA, and a drug store so you can grab some late night snacks there.

5階建てのこじんまりしたホテル。外観はやや古びているが、リノベーションを行った様子で館内は新しさを感じさせる。諏訪湖畔には面していない。 客室はいたって普通のビジネスホテルなので、残念ながらリゾート感は皆無。 部屋からの眺望もほぼ無し。部屋に空気清浄機が欲しかった。 大浴場はほぼ２４時間営業。いつでも気兼ねなく温泉に浸かれるので有難い。 ただし、１０人は入れないコンパクトな浴場なのがやや難点。 朝食が６時半スタートなので早朝６時前から温泉も混みあい始める。 特筆すべきは無料朝食サービス。品数も和食中心で多く満足できる。ご飯とパンが用意されている。飲み物はオレンジジュースにミルクにコーヒー。デザートにプレーンヨーグルトとフルーツポンチがあるのもうれしい。 館内にはレストラン、コーヒーショップ、土産物店などはない。 飲み物の自販機がロビー階にあり、ビジネスルームが無料で朝１０時から夜９時まで解放されている。ただし、PCやプリンターはない、ただのワ―ケーションスペース。 観光を目的とした滞在客より、ビジネスマンを意識したサービスが目立つ。 ゆっくりと純粋な温泉旅館に滞在したい人には不向き。特に家族連れやカップルには薦めない。ホテルは寝るだけの場所と考えればコスパは高いと思う。
