It is about 10 minutes walk from JR Kamisuwa Station. The hotel has a long history, but it is well renovated. The hotel is quite close to the lake just a few steps. I live in an old building, so I can see some lake views. The height of the new building should be better. Breakfast and dinner are all buffet style, not too many but taste good. There are two top floors (open-air) and ground floor (closed), both of which are relatively small. There are also some free entertainment facilities. Many Japanese grandpas and grandmothers stayed there.

The building itself is old, so there are some problems with the facilities, but the staff are friendly and the location of the building is great. I go out on my bicycle from the hotel and spend time with my family around Lake Suwa. The breakfast was also very clean and satisfying.

I'm not a smoker so I requested a non-smoking room, but there were none available so I ended up in a smoking room. As expected, the smell permeated the room. It was disappointing that there wasn't a single bottle of water in the fridge and the air purifier was rattling noisily, probably because it was broken.
