Enjoy our 2 nights stay at Pingjiangfu. Will definitely come back again if we revisit Suzhou. Pingjiangfu location is superb. Only 100m or 5 min walk to the entrance of Pingjiang Road. Amazing hotel! Fans of Chinese traditional architecture, garden and ambience will simply love it! Big highlights : the interior pool with golden fishes, some tables paper and brush to do calligraphy, authentic old furnitures and art, and important: they have a free tai chi 太极 lesson on the morning! The only hotel I know providing this! The teacher is super nice and his moves are impressive! I recommend a try! (Just let the hotel know one day before)

The hotel is centrally located in the most convenient tourist area where the famous Suzhou Museum and gardens are within walking distance. However, it is rather congested if you were to travel by car to other areas in Suzhou. We managed to call hired cars during week days and non public holidays but heard that it could be extremely congested during weekends. The upgraded room class we booked was not too up to our expectation but the hotel staffs were very accomodating and offered us to switch to one with balcony and better views. Cleanliness was fine but has room for improvements. Don't expect a n extravagant breakfast but it is okay. The coffee machine a bit old n has a queue. Nevertheless, you can purchase Starbucks coffee onsite for a better taste. The Chinese garden area is very relaxing for tea and quiet moments. Very enjoyable stay indeed. Thanks to the staffs and management team there.

beautiful building, in the heart of old Suzhou, really appreciate the tea ceremony and the activities in the lobby. not perfect rating because of the low quality orange juice at breakfast

Location is really good, few minutes walk to pingjiang road. The surrounding also very nice and good for photo taking. However, feel like the room is a bit old and the main washroom kept having a smell that felt like coming from the canal.

The hotel has excellent location, just few minutes walk to the old town. You can easily rent an electric motorbike for 50 yuans/24 hour (plus deposit of 300 yuans, no ID required) to run around the city, visiting other places like gardens, museums, temples).
