Very good value for the price. The sitting area in the lobby was nice, and the beds were comfy. In an excellent location, easy to access all the famous gardens in Suzhou (all within 15 minute walk). The bathrooms weren’t clean at all, but the rest of the facilities were organized and clean.

Stayed there for 2 nights, which was okay. Since the washroom is gender neutral, the toilets can be pretty nasty if a guy used it before. The rooms themselves are fine (super quiet at night, which is great). Location is great!

The location was particularly good, and I was able to access most tourist spots on foot or by bus.
It was clean, the shower was hot, and although there was an extra charge, you could use the washing machine for 6 RMB (it was an older model, not like the one in the photo).
I had no complaints and had a comfortable stay.

The bedding is OK. The sheets, quilt covers and pillowcases all look clean and white, but you need to put them on yourself. You need to remove it and send it to the front desk when you check out. The 50 deposit was returned upon check-out, and nothing was actually checked.
I took a shower in another hotel before checking in, so I didn't use the shower room. I only brought some luggage and no slippers, so I used the hostel's slippers. The slippers and toilet seat were a bit disappointing. There is 100 degree drinking water. There is an elevator and it is on the 4th floor.
It is a good choice for a temporary stay if you don't have high requirements. The price-performance ratio is really high.

When visiting Suzhou, I recommend staying here. It’s close to the subway station and the pedestrian street downstairs is full of snacks, lemon tea, etc. It’s quite lively.
Hygiene: Public restrooms, see if you can accept it
