We had a wonderful 2 nights in this family-run hotel. The host was extremely kind, friendly and helpful; he made us feel completely at home, and even gave us two delicious homemade ‘lard cakes’ to take with us because we’d enjoyed them so much at breakfast one morning!
The rooms are lovely - spacious, very light, bright and private. Really nice interior design. Ours was on the top floor with a roof top deck and great views over the lake and village.
The bed was very comfortable with fresh, clean linen and towels. There’s a kettle on the room but you need to bring your own tea or coffee. That said, tea and hot water were available 24-hours a day downstairs.
The meals in the hotel restaurant were delicious and fresh; they’re cooked onsite with ingredients that are caught or grown on the island, and are very good value. We ate breakfast (included) both mornings and dinner on our first night.
We felt very welcome and would definitely stay here again if we came back.
The main thing to note is that the host (and very few people on the island) speak English, so having some Chinese definitely helps! But we felt very welcome at all times, even when our language skills reached their limits!

The hotel is conveniently located close to the dock. The hotel includes breakfast and can provide lunch and dinner. All dishes are made from local production. The dishes are good. The host and the staff are all very accommodating and try their best to help and are always available. The hotel was fully refurbished when we came. It was clean, well furnished and well maintained. The cost appeared reasonable even during the national holiday. We chose a room with a balcony. The terrasse adds a lot of convenience and is really enjoyable. We used it often. We did spend a pleasant time there. An important reminder comes as the hotel is close, maybe one of the closest to the dock. Therefore the activity around the hotel is intense, starts early and finishes late. This can affect light sleepers and is reinforced by the fact that the island is a heaven of silence.
The island is perfect to reconnect to the nature, the slowness of life. We did appreciate our time walking around the island, visiting every small street and enjoying the pleasant view. People are very nice, organisation in the island is good and provides all the necessities. A good place for one or few days stay with or without children.

非常好的一次入住體驗，硬件設施的配置和乾淨衞生就不去多説了估計民宿都差別不大的吧。這橋外橋的優勢在於地理位置優越，出碼頭過橋就是，無需走山道小徑特別適合不方便爬山登高的，門口就有自行車出租點租個車環島遊特方便，還有就是老闆人特別的實在給人以親切感，但蚊子比較多，這也沒辦法島上到處都一樣。

工作日突然想着逃離城市喧囂，於是定了橋外橋民宿，體驗堪稱驚喜！
環境超讚，一踏入農家樂，滿眼都是鬱鬱葱葱的綠植，空氣裏瀰漫著清新的草木香。沒有周末的喧鬧，能靜下心來享受這份寧靜，坐在院子裏喝茶發呆，聽着鳥鳴，太治癒了！
服務更是貼心，老闆熱情又耐心，因為客人不多，幾乎是有求必應。會詳細介紹特色菜品和周邊遊玩攻略，讓人感覺特別温暖。
美食絕對是亮點！紅燒激浪魚肥美，新鮮得能嚐出自然的味道；醬油河蝦已經有了蝦子，口感豐富，一口下去滿滿的幸福感；清炒的蔬菜也都帶着清香，是城市吃不到的味道……分量也超足，性價比超高。
太值了！強烈推薦給想放鬆身心的朋友們！
