Here’s a draft for your review: --- I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was very cozy, offering a warm and comfortable atmosphere. While the facilities are a bit old, they are surprisingly well-maintained, which added to the charm of the experience. The hotel itself has a classic feel, giving off a sense of timeless elegance that sets it apart from modern, cookie-cutter accommodations. It’s a great choice for those who appreciate a blend of comfort and vintage aesthetics. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone seeking a relaxed and nostalgic stay.

Good location with a nice and modern shopping mall just a traffic light away. Checkin staff did not seem to be very well trained, however polite. Added breakfast for one day but only registered 1 guest despite 2 guests stayed in the room. When we asked advise at concierge if there was any shops selling photography items, reply was “ sorry I’m not local”… Would like to express our gratitude to concierge staff Peter Zhang and room attendant Li Lingyu. Peter always has a genuine smile on his face and helped with our parcel delivery reached destination smoothly. Ms Li is kind and considerate, noted we like to drink coffee, made effort to place a Nespresso coffee machine in the room. Lastly, we’d like to appreciate hotel management for making my husband’s birthday even more special by presenting a cake and a card in the room. Would consider to stay again if we go back to Suzhou.

First, I hesitate in booking this hotel but I was so impressed by the service and the friendliness of the staff. Hence, I booked a second night with a free complimentary drinks. Upon arriving the hotel, I was greeted with a friendly receptionist named Yolanda, being a non chinese speaker, I feel very relaxed talking to her. She also helped me for an early check-in since we arrived a bit early. We got in early to our room but an upgrade as well. I was so thrilled with the room, the amenities and the coziness of the vibe. The breakfast was amazing as well...If you will come to this hotel, look for Yolanda. She will definitely assist you in all your needs even give you suggestions to places to go and whether it is hot or raining that day. It was an amazing experience. Got free upgrade and love the room with huge window. Super clean and comfortable. Great amenities and there is guest laundry room. Room service/ attendant at level 8 is excellent. Front desk ladies are friendly too.

Excellent location, surrounded by restaurants and shops, and facing the lake boardwalk. The hotel is solid and traditional in its style, typical of the decade it was constructed. Front staff spoke English, they were polite, however, I was annoyed as they didn’t have my room available till 16:30, only smoking rooms were available earlier, surprised this brand has those rooms types available in 2024! Nevertheless, they upgraded me, and left fruit in the room. The room was spacious, bed was very comfortable, view was stunning and the round bath tub was ginormous! Breakfast was ok, not as extensive as other InterContinentals, but sufficient. Swimming pool is massive, and open till 23:00, which I’m grateful for. They are slow in releasing the deposit which should be credited on checkout, I didn’t receive it till the following day, that is not acceptable. So some minor issues but overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

It was our second time back at Park Hyatt and it did not disappoint. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and we were warmly greeted at the front. While we were finalizing our check in, the staff took our bags and set it up in our rooms. We tried the breakfast for the first time (complimentary) and it was amazing. Their selection is too class and they designed it so that food is not wasted. We also went to the swimming pool and it was a great time. They think of everything. Like always, everyone greeted us whenever we were in the main halls. This hotel will always be my to-go. Huge thank you to William at the front desk and Naomi in the dining hall.

There were a few ants in the first room we booked, but after a few screams and a phonecall we were quickly moved to another ant-free room. The staff were so helpful, kind and willing to communicate in English to the best of their ability. They made plenty of gestures with bowls of fruit, fragrant sacks and even a personal delivery of the food menu when we couldn't find the English menu on the TV. Their frequent arrivals had us jumping in our robes to grab the door every so often, but each time we were grateful to receive such thoughtful snacks and smells. Lovely place. Would visit again.
