This year during the Spring Festival, I took my parents to stay at Suzhou Bay Hengli Hotel. The overall impression was very good, no matter the hardware or software. This time I booked a lake view room, the room facilities are complete, the air conditioning temperature is very suitable, and the stay is very comfortable. The hotel also gives away fruit and good night porridge every day, which is very thoughtful! Every night we can see the Suzhou Bay Music Fountain opposite and the fireworks set off by the hotel in the room🎆 The hotel's buffet breakfast, dinner and Chinese restaurant are all very good, the environment is great, there are many dishes, and the taste is good! This time I booked 2 rooms and stayed for a total of 3 nights. My parents were very satisfied. Room 2502, the air conditioning is poor, it was almost turned off after turning it on all night, the air conditioner did not produce hot air even at the highest temperature, I had a headache from the cold the next day, and the check-out was delayed until 2 o'clock the next day, which is ok

I am very satisfied with my stay at Holiday Inn Suzhou East Taihu Lake! I felt the hotel's attentiveness from the moment I booked. The day before check-in, the housekeeper Xiao Luo took the initiative to contact me to confirm my itinerary and needs, and asked about my check-in preferences and precautions in detail, which made me feel very considerate. After arriving at the hotel, Xiao Luo's enthusiastic reminder was even more of a plus, introducing the hotel facilities and surrounding travel guides. During the stay, Xiao Luo always responded and solved any problems as soon as possible. This meticulous ”private butler service” really made the journey much easier! The room hygiene was completely beyond expectations! Whether it was bedding, bathroom or public areas, they were all clean and new, and there was no dust when stepping barefoot on the carpet. It can be seen that the cleaning work was very meticulous. I especially like the floor-to-ceiling window design of the room, which offers a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of Taihu Lake, and the bright lighting makes people feel happy. Overall, this place has both the hardware quality of a high-end hotel and the warm service of a family. I especially want to praise the professionalism and attentiveness of the housekeeper Xiao Luo! We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with our 10 month old during Golden Week. Pros: - Hotel is self-contained and there is no need to leave the hotel. There are large and well-maintained grounds for our daily walks with baby, including museums and traditional pagodas dotted throughout the property. There is a chinese, western (steak, pizza) and japanese (teppanyaki) restaurant within the hotel. There is also a kids play room and swimming pool, along with some other kid friendly activities like rabbit feeding and games on the lawn. - The hotel is right next to the lake and is quite beautiful. It's very relaxing to stroll along the lake. - There is an ancient town about 15 minutes walk from the hotel's main lobby. There is a free hotel shuttle to and from the ancient town too. - Staff are generally friendly and helpful - Large, family-friendly rooms are available. We stayed in a lake view suite, which was just right for us and our baby. - Hotel is affordable by international standards - Hotel is less than 2 hours drive from Shanghai, where we live - We particularly enjoyed the teppenyaki restaurant where you can get a private room and a private chef to cook your meals - Despite it being Golden Week, we didn't feel that the hotel was too crowded. Perhaps because the hotel has large grounds. Cons - The baby cot given to us had an extremely thin and uncomfortable mattress. To compensate, we were given a comforter to pad the mattress. However, this is unsafe for younger babies, who should sleep on a firm surface. - The property and facilities are a bit dated - There were very loud weddings on the lawn facing the lake each day that we were at the hotel. The loud music and emceeing disturbed the peaceful ambience of the place, and also disrupted baby's morning and afternoon naps. For families with children who still need to nap in the day, it may be better to stay in a quieter garden view room instead of a room facing the lake.

At Tongli metro station, there is a tram that takes one to the beautiful ancient Tongli (Use the bus tab instead of subway for this leg in your app). Upon arrival, after contacting Xu (Lanyun manager), he has been passionately helpful, picking up our luggage as we explore the beautiful town. He was friendly and replied readily to our every need, like recommending good eating places, which definitely helped facilitate our vacation here. The room is more beautiful than the pictures, with its harmonious oriental room design and well coordinating decor and colours. The facilities are adequate to our needs, hot water, wi-fi, clean towels, and decent location. We loved our time here, the pretty courtyard in front of the room, the warmth of the hotel manager, the tastefully design of our room, the vibe of this quiet beautiful old town and the enjoyable boat ride! Upon departure, the manager sent us off in his motor vehicle, beginning and ending this trip hassle-free. Wholeheartedly recommended. (Note: entry to the ancient town is free after 5pm but you won't get to enter a few of the tourist spots and access to all of Tongli during the day. Ticket is 100rmb per adult. )

The bathroom space is spacious, and the countertop is extended, which is very convenient to use. The mattress is moderately soft and hard, and the sleeping experience is very good. The breakfast is a combination of Chinese and Western, and the automatic coffee machine is delicious and nutritious. The surrounding supporting facilities are complete, and shopping and entertainment are very convenient.

The hotel environment is very good, the room is very comfortable, the service is very thoughtful, there are welcome fruits, and small gifts are thoughtfully arranged when leaving the hotel. Very good experience, located just opposite Suzhou Bay Grand Theater, just a few steps away. Check-in is also very convenient. New to this part of Suzhou, so I didn't expect the nearest metro station to be surrounded by malls (and a strip of late night eateries, if you didn't catch the hotel dinner). Villa rooms were great, and would be best spent with friends or family. Outdoor springs were good, spent the time with friends who weren't all too comfy with the usual hot springs where you need to get nude. Nearby East Tai Lake is worth an afternoon visit after you check out. There were only a handful of tourists around the weekend we were there, which made the stay much much more special.
