We spent four unforgettable nights at 吳宮泛太平酒店, staying on the second floor with a balcony that overlooked the stunning hotel lobby—a breathtaking replica of an old palace and its beautiful courtyard. The architecture and design truly transported us to another era, offering a sense of historical grandeur. The hotel is perfectly situated adjacent to the famous **盤門 (Panmen Scenic Area)**, which includes the historic Wu Country wall. As hotel guests, we had complimentary access to this remarkable site, which became a highlight of our stay. In the evenings, the area transformed into a magical scene, with glowing lanterns lighting up the surroundings and free outdoor performances of traditional Chinese dance. The dancers were incredibly professional, elegant, and mesmerizing—a beautiful cultural experience we’ll cherish forever. The service at 吳宮泛太平酒店 exceeded all expectations. A special shoutout to Mr. 孫 at the front door, who warmly greeted us every day and helped with our heavy luggage with a smile. The lady at the breakfast buffet station deserves recognition as well—though we regret not catching her name—she prepared the most delicious noodle soup for us each morning with genuine care. Another standout was the gentleman at the service desk who eagerly assisted us by bringing a selection of toiletries to choose from when my limited Chinese made it challenging to request items like shampoo and toilet paper. His patience and willingness to help left a lasting impression. Our visit to 蘇州 was filled with discoveries of its rich history, exquisite art, stunning architecture, and delicious food. Even with four days, we felt there was so much more to explore. We are already looking forward to our next visit and would happily stay at 吳宮泛太平酒店 again for another memorable experience.

The most incredible service to date in 20years of China hotel stays. Extremely friendly staff, great English and attention to detail. 10/5 stars for service. Breakfast buffet also good. The only very small issue was the rooms didn’t have plugs on side of bed to charge phone. Lovely hotel, amazing service and highly recommended to others. To management just would politely suggest to and plugs on each side of bed so can charge phones, it’s not 1995 anymore and everyone has devices to charge.

The hotel has a vintage charm, though showing signs of age. However, its remarkable soundproofing ensures a peaceful stay. With a prime location, exploring the city is convenient. On the downside, guests should note that food deliveries require collection from the lobby.

First, I hesitate in booking this hotel but I was so impressed by the service and the friendliness of the staff. Hence, I booked a second night with a free complimentary drinks. Upon arriving the hotel, I was greeted with a friendly receptionist named Yolanda, being a non chinese speaker, I feel very relaxed talking to her. She also helped me for an early check-in since we arrived a bit early. We got in early to our room but an upgrade as well. I was so thrilled with the room, the amenities and the coziness of the vibe. The breakfast was amazing as well...If you will come to this hotel, look for Yolanda. She will definitely assist you in all your needs even give you suggestions to places to go and whether it is hot or raining that day. It was an amazing experience. Location is perfect. Jinji lake. Shopping mall with eateries and million shops, metro station, all in walking distance. Room was spacious. Bed was a bit soft for me, heating/AC worked well, amenities were fine. We tried the swimming pool, view was nice from the 27th floor. There was a weird noise, every 8-10 minutes a bang on the wall coming from above in the middle of the night for 1-2 hours. I guess we were just not lucky with those neighbors...

A very beautiful property to stay, the staff is extremely hospitable and sweet. Highly recommended for people who are looking for a relaxing and serene staycation near Shanghai. It does have a western restaurant on site and hotspring facility is also nice 👍

The room is large and has a balcony. I can't look closely, but I can see that many facilities are old and not well maintained, including the shower, which is faded and leaking. Parking is convenient The breakfast is average, which is different from the old five-star hotels. Service 4.5, 0.5 is a deduction for room service. I asked for paper towels twice but didn't get them, so I had to go to the front desk to get them myself. The front desk service is very good, giving people a homely feeling. In general, I won't come again next time.

One of the best hotel in Suzhou. It was so clean and looks like new hotel having many facilities!!! 4 stars hotel but having services like 5 stars hotel Value for money! Hotel location is just next to ”Yingchun Lu” metro station very convinient for us to go everywhere while we are in Suzhou
