Manxin Hotels in Suzhou

Location is superb. Right in the heart of Shantang street. Taxi is not able to get to hotel. Walking is manageable. I had to call hotel when I couldn’t find the place. A hotel staff came out to bring us in. Just look for these signs (see my pics) & that’s where the hotel is located. Hotel is fairly rustic with open courtyard. Staff are friendly & always stood up to greet you. Lots & lots of restaurants, gift shops, boat ride in the area.

Located at 观前街。 Very accessible to variety of food. Although stayed there only for a day. But overall stay is awesome. Minor hiccup during check in. The hotel requested to take photocopy of our passport. Understandable. But even ask for our NRIC (Identification Card) to make a photocopy of it. That is something I don’t understand. If anyone can clear my doubt. Last but not least. Delicious and affordable 馄饨 nearby. Ate for both Breakfast and Dinner. 👍🏻

The hotel is in a great location, very close to Tianping Mountain Scenic Area. Since we had to enter the park early the next morning to take pictures of the red leaves, we chose this place! The bedding is very comfortable! The price given by Ctrip is also very favorable! The breakfast is also very rich, with freshly cooked noodles and wontons! The drinking water is Bama mineral water, which is very good! There is a shopping mall 5 minutes away from the hotel, where you can eat and shop! Not bad!

Good location, Pingjiang Road is on the left side of the door, Shuangta Market is across the road, and it is walking distance from the subway station✅ There is free parking in the underground garage. However, the space is limited and you may not be able to park during the peak season of holidays.⚠️Note that the slope at the entrance of the garage is steep and cars with low chassis may not be able to get down. The service is very good and thoughtful✅ The room decoration style and layout are very comfortable✅ The bedding is comfortable and refreshing, and the hygiene is good✅ There are children's slippers and toothbrushes✅

I brought my nearly 80-year-old mother to Suzhou to experience the Wu Nong soft language and the beauty of Chinese gardens. I collected many hotels and B&Bs, read many reviews, and finally chose this one. Because for the elderly, Shantang Street may be too lively at night, and Jinji Lake does not feel too much classical style. Another thing is that there are many old buildings and furnishings in the B&B, without elevators, and the hardware may be slightly inferior... In short, I chose Manxin in Pingjiang Courtyard with a nervous mood, and I was not disappointed. The day before check-in, I called to explain that there may be noise during the day due to renovations (actually within an acceptable range), and then added WeChat to send the address and give taxi suggestions. When I arrived at the parking lot of the hotel, I saw the smiling baggage boy who helped me pull the luggage. It happened to be him when I left the store. He helped us send it out before we finished the meal. I wanted to give a tip, but I didn’t have any cash. I asked him what his surname was, and he said that it was his duty not to thank him (his surname seemed to be Zhang 🤭). Every service staff was very enthusiastic, including Pan Pan at the front desk, who helped us introduce the room and even WeChat. My mother liked them very much. As for the hardware, my mother summed it up as follows: small but complete, clean and elegant, quiet in a bustling environment. It fits the mood of the poem ”Humble House” hanging in the room. In addition to sufficient mineral water (4 bottles), free soda water was also prepared (this has exceeded many luxury brands). The shower head is also worth praising. The water volume is large and the water pressure is sufficient. There is no mold spot in the corners of the bathroom and shower room. For this reason, I decided to try a few more hotels under Huazhu Club next time. Another reason for recommendation is that the hotel is located on Pingjiang Road (but once you enter the room, you will be isolated from the outside noise), very close to the Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Grove, and Suzhou Museum, and my mother can walk there. There are Xie Dongjia and Songhe Tower downstairs, as well as the Pingtan Hall, and it is only across the river from the Pipa Language Pingjiang Road store.

The room area is not very large, and the space utilization is very high. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the whole house is intelligent voice control, and the smart toilet is very cost-effective. The room facing the street is a little noisy, but the room is equipped with earplugs.

The overall feeling is that the hotel environment is first-class, the service is excellent, and the accommodation experience is excellent. During the crab season, leisure vacation to Changshu, staying at Shajiayu Manxin Mansion is definitely the best choice.
