"Excellent hotel with very attentive and friendly staff, everything was smooth and hassle-free. The room was very clean, quiet, and pleasant, with an excellent view from the balcony, close to the train. The metro and shops were also nearby. My only observation is that there was no drawer to store small items of clothing... For larger items, there was a hanger, which could be a bit better."

"This was the second hotel I stayed at in Barcelona. Its location is excellent, right next to Plaça d'Espanya, making transportation very convenient. There are supermarkets, convenience stores, pharmacies, and bakeries nearby, which pretty much covers all guest needs.
The only downside is that the room was a bit small and felt cramped, though the bathroom was quite spacious. Housekeeping requires a request; otherwise, they only clean when staff are available. On the second day, after cleaning, they didn't replenish the bottled water. Good thing I bought a large bottle from the supermarket. I had to specifically ask the cleaning staff for water on the third day, otherwise, none would be provided.
When I had some free time, I was able to use the gym downstairs. The rooftop bar and pool were temporarily closed due to a Category 10 hurricane, so I didn't get to experience them. Overall, the value for money is still decent."

"I always stay at this hotel when I'm in Barcelona. It's super convenient with the metro and train stations just downstairs, about 100 and 200 meters away respectively. You can get to all the sights and the airport really easily. It's in a proper residential area, and while it might not look as upscale as the Eixample, it feels very safe. There are delicious family-run restaurants nearby, a breakfast spot downstairs (cheaper than the hotel!), and a convenience store. The hotel itself is quite traditional; not super new in terms of decor, but very clean, and the hot water works great. What's really important is that normally in Europe, if you're changing rooms, you can't move your luggage in early and have to repack everything and wait until check-in time. But here, if you just tell the front desk, you can move your bags into the new room the next day – it's brilliant! There's also a small rooftop pool with a pretty nice view. Highly recommend it, ladies! The pictures show the hotel room, the breakfast place downstairs, and a nearby family restaurant (so good 😋)."

"The hotel is cheaper than a beach resort but too expensive for an average hotel that it is. The rooms are clean, but certain things seriously take away from the experience. For example, the shampoo pumps don't work properly. The vynil floor is warped from water damage. The room smelled like chlorine when I first checked in. I would 100% take the smell of chlorine vs. the smell of something not clean. But still, they should pick a different cleaning product.The rooftop bar +pool area is too small for a big hotel like this. The tables at the bar don't get cleaned timely. The hotel is on the beach, but it's a public beach and half nudist.
Positives: it's a 15 min walk from the metro, there is a nice supermarket steps from the hotel. Towels are clean. Bed very comfortable. There is a tea kettle w tea/coffee/creamer in the room."

"I stayed at this hotel in Barcelona for 7 nights. It's not a new hotel, but it's well-maintained. Like most hotels in Europe, the rooms are on the smaller side, but they were cleaned daily and kept very neat and tidy. The cleaning staff are mostly hearing-impaired, so be prepared for that when communicating; it's a good idea to write down any requests beforehand. The hotel's location is excellent. From the airport, take the L9 metro, transfer to the L1, and get off at Arc de Triomf station – it's just a two-minute walk from there. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a great variety of meats, eggs, dairy, vegetables, and fruits. Very satisfied overall."

It's close to Vinitus, Passeig de Gràcia shopping street, and Casa Batlló, making it a great location for sightseeing.
There are no stairs at the entrance, so you can easily enter right away.
The room was spacious and had a great view, and the soundproofing was quite good with the windows closed.
The reception staff were all friendly, and luggage storage was available.
However, the bathroom wasn't well-ventilated, so the water took a while to dry.
The refrigerator and minibar drinks seemed to have been poorly maintained, as they were sticky. The top of the Coca-Cola can was covered in a strange solid substance.
There's no coffee pot or microwave in the room, but the friendly staff lent us a coffee pot.
Amenities include only two bars of disposable soap, so you'll need to bring your own shampoo, body wash, toothbrush/toothpaste, etc.
There's an all-in-one wash, but it's refillable. The container looked a bit dirty, so I didn't use it.
They usually only give you one room key, but when I asked for a spare, they gave me another 👍👍
I'd definitely come back!!"

Hhxm.trxvxlOur best stay in Spain. The staffs were all friendly. I only managed to catch a few people’s names like Anass, Raquel, Sebastian but everyone (front desk, concierge, housekeeping, breakfast staffs) in the hotel made us feel very welcome and comfortable. For example, Sebastian offered a pair of scissors without us even asking when he saw us repacking our luggage at the lobby. Everyday we went out and returned, everyone would greet us. We truly felt the warm welcome and friendliness of the Spanish through them. Very glad to book this hotel even though the hotel may be slightly more expensive than other hotels in Barcelona. Housekeeping seems to be done twice daily too (they will leave us chocolates on our bed every evening which is extremely sweet of them). Housekeeping team also sprayed fragrance on our little pillows which we brought with us on the trip (no other hotels have done so for us into past).
One more thing to add is that the showers in the hotel are full glass so it lacks privacy. We did not know this beforehand but only upon our check in. Anass and team assisted us the next day to stick privacy film to make us more comfortable.
A pity is that the Michelin starred restaurant located in the hotel is closed from Sunday to Tuesday, so we could not get to try it. The breakfast is the same every morning too but it was alright.
We would definitely return to the hotel if we are in Barcelona again. Gracias Team Ohla Barcelona! 100/100

We arrived late on our first day and didn't have time to buy water, so the hotel gave us a bottle, which was very nice! We booked a standard double room, but it had a small balcony overlooking the pool and outdoor restaurant. The view was lovely.
The security was also very good; nothing was lost during our several nights. We also noticed that the automatic door at the entrance was manually controlled by the front desk, so unauthorized people wouldn't be able to get in.

Its location is a bit off the beaten path, a little far from the Barcelona Convention Center (Fira de Barcelona). During peak exhibition times, taking the subway is actually more convenient than a taxi. Overall, compared to hotels closer to MWC, it offers great value for money.

PPotato02We had an excellent experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a lovely male receptionist who made us feel genuinely welcome. Even though we arrived 30 minutes before the official check-in time, he kindly arranged an early check-in for us, and the whole process was smooth and efficient.
We were given a room on the 5th floor, and it exceeded all our expectations. The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the train station, with several local supermarkets nearby, including one just a few doors down.
The main tourist attractions are a bit too far to reach on foot, but they’re very easy to access by train. However, if you don’t mind walking, as we didn’t, Sagrada Família is only about a 25-minute walk away, and many other sights can also be reached on foot without any trouble.
The hotel provides a card to indicate whether you’d like housekeeping, and every time we selected “yes,” the housekeeping team did an outstanding job. We stayed for four nights, and the service was consistently excellent. All the receptionists were incredibly friendly and polite, always greeting us with warm, welcoming smiles.
We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

This was the only hotel among the several we stayed at in Spain that actually provided them. The location seemed decent enough, although we primarily used taxis. We found that for a group, taking taxis in Barcelona offered better value than using the metro. A branch of Joncake is just a 3-minute walk from the hotel – highly recommended! It's delicious and there was no waiting in line.

LLanyingyinggetianI have to commend the front desk staff for patiently helping me switch rooms. I forgot to ask for her name, but she was very patient and moved me to a mixed-gender room. Otherwise, I would have been incredibly embarrassed staying in a room with only women. I know working in the hotel industry isn't easy, and meeting guest demands can be tough. However, the service quality of some individual staff members definitely needs improvement.

JJoe the world citizenThis hotel is located outside of the city center of Barcelona. It is just across from Fira Barcelona Gran Via, which has a L9 South metro stop. Hence, it is not difficult to go to the city from the hotel. The room is spacious with nice decor but the hotel seems a little old as there are some cracks here and there. The gym is usable but not really complete. There is a huge selection of food for the breakfast but they are not the best, either.

Summary:
We had a short break in Barcelona this week and were looking for a clean, well-located room, and that’s exactly what we got. The Park Hotel was a pleasant surprise and definitely shouldn’t be judged by its facade—we were truly impressed.
Room:
Our room on the sixth floor was spacious for a city hotel and had all the amenities you’d expect. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the pillows were firm and supportive—none of those mushy, overly soft ones you often find in hotels. The bathroom was well-equipped, though it might be a bit tight for larger guests.
Cleanliness:
The room was cleaned regularly, and any requests we had were promptly addressed. The pool area was also well-maintained, and the shower room available on our departure day was spotless, making our stay even more comfortable.
Service:
The service was reasonable overall. The staff managed multiple tasks at once, and although they sometimes appeared a bit stressed, they were always prompt, polite, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
Location:
The location is perfect for exploring Barcelona. It’s within easy walking distance of Barceloneta, Port Vell, and the El Born district. Plus, the hotel is directly opposite the train station, which made our day trip to Sitges incredibly convenient.
Facilities:
The hotel’s rooftop pool is a nice feature, with about 14 chairs available for sunbathing. The area gets busy in the mid-afternoon, especially when the summer sun is at its peak. The pool itself is a perfect size for a quick cool-down after exploring the city.
Food and Drink:
We had breakfast included with our booking, which offered all the basics you’d expect from a hotel breakfast. It was a good way to start the day and provided enough variety to fuel up before heading out.
Value for Money:
The Park Hotel offered excellent value for money, given its location, comfort, and amenities.
Tips/Recommendations:
This hotel is ideal if you enjoy a trendy food and cocktail scene combined with the bustling beach atmosphere. It’s a great base for exploring the best of what Barcelona has to offer.
We would definitely return to the Park Hotel on our next visit to Barcelona.

BBailidaiwangWhat first surprised me about this hotel was how incredibly friendly it is towards Chinese tourists. There was even a Chinese New Year greeting card and fruit on the room table. The front desk staff wished us a Happy New Year too! The moment we walked in, a wave of happiness just washed over us.
The hotel lobby is incredibly stylish, well-designed, and has a grand, trendy feel to it.
I really loved the many thoughtful design details inside the room. The embroidery on the slippers was very intricate, as were the bathrobes, which featured many embroidered butterflies. The hotel also has a dedicated area in the room for makeup and hair drying, which I absolutely adored – and the mirror is an irregularly shaped design, very beautiful. Even the mineral water bottles were beautifully designed. This hotel just emanates happiness everywhere you look.
The hotel environment fully meets five-star standards, but there are a few small details that could be improved. For example, the showerhead sprays water in a chaotic way and hasn't been fixed, and the water pressure is quite low, making showering a bit uncomfortable. Also, the hotel doesn't seem to have solutions for certain guest requests. For instance, I wanted to heat up some food I brought back from outside, and the hotel couldn't accommodate. I believe that for a five-star standard, they should consider and properly address customer needs.
