Hotels with Parking in Taichung

"Excellent location and friendly hardworking staff. But this is one of the worst hotel I have stayed in. The room has the necedsary furniture but they are run.down. The owner apparently only cares about himself. For an example I have posted a photo of curtain with holes. The bed was firm but ok. The bathroom was actually not bad. Only strange thing was that there was no toilet roll holder. There never was one as there are no holes on the wall either. Housekeeping worked hard but with the state of the room, there's only so much they can do. The breakfast was strange. If something ran out they are instructed not to refill I guess. Even the coffee machine just gives you a slightly coloured water. Someone complained about bed bugs in some review, but we had no such problem. With an excellent location, I regret to say that the hotel is in a pathetic state. As the owner only likes to count money. So sad."

"Such a convenient location and walking distance to the Feng Jia night market. They provide snacks and drinks in the hotel room, but pls check the expired date. Hmmm"

"Extremely disappointed 😞. The family room I saw in the pictures wasn't the one I stayed in, and there were no photos of my actual room type available on Trip.com. The room I got didn't match the price I paid. I booked specifically for the room design, so I was really upset when I arrived. When I asked at the front desk, they told me, 'Because you didn't request it? So it's just a standard room?' I had no idea there were other room types. I came during a public holiday (and my price was more than double the usual rate), but I didn't get the room I wanted. I really can't accept this! The most unreasonable thing, in my opinion, was the security deposit. I'm okay with paying a deposit, but why wasn't it refunded immediately? Who traveling for a vacation in Taiwan wants to wait over two weeks for a refund? I've already waited fourteen days, and they're saying it's Trip.com's problem and not theirs??? The staff just shifted all the blame and didn't help resolve the issue at all! It's already 2/28 to 3/14 and I still haven't received my money? What happened to the promised 7 to 14 days? And I can't find anyone who can help resolve this problem! I hope the hotel can help deal with this instead of just saying it's not their problem. The hotel partners with Trip.com; they help you get guests, so why are you so indifferent to your customers' issues??? Who would dare to book with you again after this??? (RM591.92) Is the deposit for one night the same as the holiday room price??? Maybe you didn't collect it directly, but since you let Trip.com collect it, you should be responsible for helping to inquire and assist customers in getting their money back. Just because it's not 'your' money, you don't care? Is this a customer service issue? Five hundred TWD 4,600?? Is that a service fee? Is this a joke? No problem resolution? The breakfast was indeed good! I'll give them that. But who knows how much Oden 🍢 there was? They advertised it as a late-night snack, but it was all gone by 9 PM? When I asked, they just said, 'It's gone, it's gone?' In that case, why even offer it?"

"Awesome! 👍 This place offers great value for money, especially at the discounted price of 1600 on a Friday night. I was in Fengjia for an exam, so I opted for no breakfast and no parking. The main thing is that the room was super clean and comfortable. Even though they didn't provide slippers (due to policy), the cleanliness of the floor gave me a good idea of how well the entire hotel is maintained ✨. I'll definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Fengjia! 🏨"

"Overall, it's a great hotel. The facilities, staff, cleanliness, and convenience are all excellent. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I visit Taichung. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that. However, there were a couple of things I wasn't happy about: (1) The hotel has self-service laundry, but I only found out when I got to the laundry room that it's only open from 9 AM to 10 PM daily (who wants to spend their prime travel time doing laundry in the hotel?). And at 9 AM, you have to call someone to open the door, and there's no air conditioning in the waiting area... Wouldn't it be more normal to have the laundry room on a non-guest room floor? (2) If there are no personal items on the towels placed on the chairs, it's generally fine to remove them. But I had placed clothes on the towel, and the towel was still taken, which I found really puzzling."

"It is a very nice hotel with great location. The hotel is located at around 10mins on taxi from the train station (25min walk). There is a tiny night market and a cinema nearby. The classic room has a very strange shape and is very small, so I won’t recommend for anyone. The service was great where the staff are polite and helpful. The hotel also offers bike lending service for free for up to 3hrs. This is very helpful for me exploring the city in a short period of time. One big issue I found is the sound proof is very poor. I was able to hear noise very clearly from people walking /talking outside my room."

"This hotel is close to Feng Chia Night Market and offers convenient parking. The rooms are new, clean, and modernly designed, with a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The breakfast selection is extensive, and they even offer a late-night snack service, which is a nice touch."

"Hotel is meddium size , overall us good and convience. Near TaiChung train station, in city. Walking distance for food shop and tanako mall . beside hotel have family mart or 7-11 . It opposite Miyahara dessert"

"🅿️ Parking: Since I was driving, I parked on the 7th floor and above of the Sunday Tiandi Outlet. You can park first and then check-in. The front desk will provide a paper slip, which makes it very convenient to enter and exit the parking lot during your stay. Pros: ❶ Great location, very close to the hotel ❷ It's free. Cons: ❶ The parking lot is quite small, so you have to keep circling up ❷ Since it's a department store parking lot, it can get very crowded sometimes, and you have to wait for the elevators (on the day I visited, two out of three elevators were out of order) ❸ You need to register when you exit, and sometimes staff will patrol, so you have to wait. Hotel Location: Pros: When you open the map, it's close to all the popular attractions. Even if some places are further away, public transportation is very convenient. Cons: At night, in the direction of the convenience store, there are clubs or other establishments...? A group of people gather there. I suggest going with a companion if you need to buy things at the convenience store (this point varies from person to person). Hotel: Pros: ❶ The front desk staff are very helpful ❷ When checking in, you can get combs, razors, and toothbrushes (🆓) at the front desk ❸ There's no bottled water, but there's a water dispenser outside the elevators where you can fill your room's mug (you can also get free drinks at the front desk, the cocoa is delicious) ❹ The environment is very clean and pleasant ❺ You can arrange for housekeeping to clean the room. Cons: ❶ There were mosquitoes, so bring insect repellent. Room: Deluxe Studio Suite (the one in the far corner to the right of the elevator on the 7th floor) Pros: ❶ The environment is clean, and the facilities seem quite new. Cons: ❶ The table and chairs are hard and small ❷ The soundproofing is poor; you can hear conversations loudly from the hallway ❸ The bathroom takes up one-third of the room and isn't completely dry/wet separated. Although the bathroom space is large, the sink is tiny and cute. Suggestion: This room type is suitable for one person; it feels a bit cramped for two."

"It's an older hotel, but it still maintains a grand and impressive feel. While the interior facilities are a bit dated, the air conditioning works comfortably, and the hygiene is perfectly fine. The toilets are even modern, with bidet functions, which is a nice touch. The only downside is the government's eco-friendly policy preventing hotels from providing amenities, but that's a government issue, not the hotel's fault. The breakfast is decent – not luxurious, but it matches the price for a one-night stay and you can certainly eat your fill. I'd consider staying here again if the opportunity arises."
