Taichung Heping District Hotels

I misread the description in Chinese so this was partly my fault for booking a rather shabby room! The staff were very helpful and friendly though, so that was really lovely. The location was great, and I could easily get around. The only thing was really the amenities inside the room for this room type was flabbergasting! In short, every item inside was just old and of bare quality. You can have old furniture but have the furniture well-maintained. To name a few, the slippers provided were torn, the inside of the fridge was rusty, and there was no shower curtain inside the bathroom! The price was within my budget during peak season and I didn’t want to spend more, plus all other rooms were full, so I didn’t have much to complain about my stay. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious enough. But objectively speaking for the price I was charged, it was definitely pricey given the quality of the room. All I can say is, the photos provided by the hotel were definitely adjusted heavily for lighting and colour. Nevertheless I enjoyed my stay as the room fit my purpose for the stay. It was rather cozy. :)

To be honest, the room facilities are really simple, if the requirements are not high actually still can, but with this price to rent two nights seems to deviate from the actual imagination 🙄 And the whole suite most I appreciate is the toilet board 🤭🤭 dinner three people (one Evening) 1000 Taiwan dollars, actually have a hometown flavor, delivery service is very good, warm reminder: if guests go to the public hot spring remember to bring their own towels, the hot spring area does not have towels for Should (end)🤫 This is about 1 and a half hours from the city, if you need to go to the city center, it is recommended to find a night to stay in the city center before going, because it is too wasteful to go back and forth, and Monday seems to be their local rest Day, many restaurants are closed, if you want to find a restaurant along the way to the valley is more difficult! 🤑🤑

The room is clean, the accommodation quality is very good, the breakfast is acceptable, the staff is very kind, very close to the hot springs, the view from the balcony is great, I will come again if I have the opportunity, recommended👍🏻

Taiwan's three major palace-style buildings are antique and full of historical charm. This time I stayed at the branch, the interior was renovated and was quite satisfactory, the food was also good, and the service staff was the highlight, everyone was friendly and polite and worthy of praise~ Although the hardware facilities are not as good as those of the flat-land hotels, and it is not cheap, but I stayed there just for the nostalgic feeling~ It's worth staying!

The room was clean, bright and very comfortable. The hot spring pool and small fish pond are also very good. The small coffee table next to the bed and near the window is suitable for drinking tea and watching the mountain view! Well worth it for the price! Will come again if I have the chance!

The hotel is on a mountain. The environment is comfortable, the hot spring water is authentic, and meals are served in the evening. The price is not expensive, but the taste is average. The staff is friendly and helps to call a taxi, but the place is relatively small, but the scenery on the mountain is beautiful.

The air is fresh, a paradise, and the high-altitude concerts at night are impressive. There are Taiwan two-leaf pine trees along the Taoshan waterfall. Hiking in the forest, enjoying the forest bathing, watching the national treasure Sakura Salmon live in the clean Qijiawan Creek.

The attitude of the service staff at the counter, restaurant, and handicraft workshop is very good ~ the rich chicken set dinner is also good, the handmade towel dog is also very interesting, the room is comfortable and the bed is very comfortable.

Facility view 5 stars: However, the design of the public hot spring cabinet is difficult to open and close, and the hair dryer level is too low❌ 4 stars for staff: The email management department cannot effectively grasp the customer's needs. One question was confirmed three times, but the on-site service staff was very 👌🏻 Price 2 stars: Compared with other hoshinowas in Japan, this one in Guguan not only does not include meal charges, but also charges each item separately, causing trouble for passengers. Moreover, the taste and sophistication cannot be equated with the price, and they are a bit deceived into spending meal charges. It feels like accommodation charges in Japan include at least one stay and two meals❌
