Hotel located conveniently right beside Taipei Main Station. The hotel looks dated bringing you'll back to the 90's. Rooms was clean and overall stay ok.

This is a wonderful short stay at Cosmos. The best part is the location. However, the hotel is somewhat outdated. A renovation is probably in order. Still, the staff are friendly, and the stay was enjoyable. We didn't order the breakfast because the location was so close to the main station anyway. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cosmos Hotel Taipei and I can’t say enough about how enjoyable the experience was. From the moment I checked in, it was clear that cleanliness and tidiness were top priorities here. The lobby was spotless, with a fresh and welcoming atmosphere, and that same attention to detail carried over into my room. The bed was perfectly made, the surfaces gleamed, and there wasn’t a speck of dust to be found. It’s the kind of place where you feel instantly at ease knowing everything is so well-maintained.

It is an old hotel but the location is ideal as it is near Taipei Main Station. All the railway, mrt and HSR will pass by this station which is ideal if you are travelling to other parts of Taiwan.

Love this hotel for multiple reasons. Firstly, the location. Super convenient, prolly the best you can get in Taipei. There are escalators up and down from the hotel to the metro and that could really help if you are carrying a lot and heavy luggage. Secondly, the service of the hotel staff were super good. You will be given complimentary drink vouchers, which were greatly appreciated. They also gave hot spring sachets for you to try. Don’t think you can find other hotels with such great services and complimentary items. The setbacks were that the room that I booked was actually near the lift and when people walked past the room at night or in the morning, there will be noises, which can be disruptive if you are a light sleeper. Also the showering doesn’t have wet and dry separation, you will need to step in and out of the bathtub which one need to be really careful.
But other than that, would still highly recommend this hotel. Have stayed for multiple times and will continue to book this hotel when I’m in Taipei!
